Day 3 ✅ holy cow I am not a fan of cardio & I’m most definitely not a fan of this cardio, but I pushed through and got it done!
Sometimes the best thing we can do for ourselves is just push through the workout because when your done you feel amazing.

happy birthday to me💫 with my existence so far on this spinning globe, i’ve come to realize a lot about life and my perception of it. there are five beautiful things i want to share. 1) love is not just a word - it’s an action. actions truly speak louder than words. true love, for me, is found in Jesus Christ. someone who sacrificed His life for me, and then walks with me, on the daily, through this world. love is a beautiful thing and i only hope to spread that throughout my entire being, and throughout my content. 2) genuine connections are what i crave...it’s what we all crave. we all want to feel loved and wanted. we are so worthy to be surrounded by people of love, light, integrity, and who push us to go beyond our comfort zones. 3) never suppress emotions. let it out. through salty streams that pour against your face, through journaling, or even talking it through with someone. release what no longer serves you. watch the weight be lifted off of your shoulders. 4) don’t be afraid to be you. never limit your creativity, dreams, or personality to fit inside someone’s box or small mind. embrace who you are unapologetically. societal norms are draining. 5) open your heart to the world, and the world will shine love right back. may we all shine like stars in this universe — even in the darkness of the world. may we all be the light💫

I like making "bases" for weekly salads in mason jars. This one was spinach with squeezed lime on it. It's been marinating in the fridge, and I just dumped some ground turkey on top for dinner. Sprinkle some sunflower seeds and BAM! Dinner is served 🍾 I used a garlic combo seasoning (it's full of random spices that mixed together taste like garlic HEAVEN) on the turkey & because the mason jar was sitting pretty in the fridge, it was a flavor explosion! No need for sugary dressing and chemicals 🚫 #gritandgrace#cleaneat#mealprepmadeeasy
☝🏻 Those are some crazy stats! Second week of February is giving yourself 5-6 weeks to reach goals, create new habits, find what works for you, find what makes you feel good....this is a journey, people! It’s a marathon, not a sprint. It takes a hell of a lot of time & patience, trial & error. .
People who do work with health coaches do tend to have higher success rates because accountability is so helpful & getting past the mindset blocks is something we work so much on! Just sayin’ 👊🏻💪🏻
Sometimes I sit back and wonder why people don’t decide to fulfill their life’s desires. Then the thought comes to me that most individuals were brainwashed by society to think with limits. I believe that I’m limitless despite circumstances.
Recently while organizing my closets I found this belt. A belt I’m not sure why I saved but am grateful I did. This belt now serves as my reminder to the darkness I once resided within.
This was the belt that I had to make an extra hole is not many years ago and was still tight. A time where it was tough to bend over and tie my shoes and a time when I hated the season I love the most, summer.
I was 270 pounds with a 42-44” waist. My outer body reflected my inner spirit. I was broken. I was lost. I’m grateful now for this belt for it’s reminder of all the work I’ve put in, yes the physical but most importantly the mental. Filled with doubt and my famous line was I can’t. But I did with the guidance of others.
I share this because we live in a time with so much knowledge being at our finger tips that WE CAN if WE CHOOSE.

Not that long ago my life was a different story ... morning rush hour, “9-5”, afternoon rush hour, paycheck to paycheck, deadlines, bills and more pilling bills ... all these are the past.
I wish I would’ve step out of my own way earlier and made the decision to leave the rat race. I would have been enjoying long morning walks much sooner.

It’s chilling in the fridge while i wait for hubs to go get cheese dip for his nachos! ••• yesterday, i was snowed in bc of our driveway so i called in to work. Hubs & i had a nice morning of playing in the snow with our dogs, my eating was on point...until dinner 🙄 so calling that my treat for the week and moving on. I didn’t do THAT terrible. # Story The Weight of the Glass
“Once upon a time a psychology professor walked around on a stage while teaching stress management principles to an auditorium filled with students. As she raised a glass of water, everyone expected they’d be asked the typical “glass half empty or glass half full” question. Instead, with a smile on her face, the professor asked, “How heavy is this glass of water I’m holding?”
Students shouted out answers ranging from eight ounces to a couple pounds.
She replied, “From my perspective, the absolute weight of this glass doesn’t matter. It all depends on how long I hold it. If I hold it for a minute or two, it’s fairly light. If I hold it for an hour straight, its weight might make my arm ache a little. If I hold it for a day straight, my arm will likely cramp up and feel completely numb and paralyzed, forcing me to drop the glass to the floor. In each case, the weight of the glass doesn’t change, but the longer I hold it, the heavier it feels to me.”
As the class shook their heads in agreement, she continued, “Your stresses and worries in life are very much like this glass of water. Think about them for a while and nothing happens. Think about them a bit longer and you begin to ache a little. Think about them all day long, and you will feel completely numb and paralyzed – incapable of doing anything else until you drop them.” 👉The moral: It’s important to remember to let go of your stresses and worries. No matter what happens during the day, as early in the evening as you can, put all your burdens down. Don’t carry them through the night and into the next day with you. If you still feel the weight of yesterday’s stress, it’s a strong sign that it’s time to put the glass down. “
