Working out should become so much more than trying to achieve a physical goal. 
Working out MUST become a feeling you desire to have on a regular basis in order for it to last.  For me, it's finding strength within or pushing my body to the next level that keeps me motivated. 
I'm 8 years into fitness with 2 kids, having come through hell to end up doing it all on my own with fibromyalgia, Pcos, and thyroid... and I'm still here keeping myself healthy and happy.  I don't say this to congratulate myself but to give encouragement.  To show, despite everything, this can be part of your life for good, no matter the obstacles.

New hardware for #MedalMonday! 🏅My 3yrs at the #ScotiabankWaterfrontMarathon 2015-2017! It all started with my very first race in 2015, which earned me a bronze for completing my first 5K (to think, I had just gotten used to running for 30 minutes continually!); then I earned silver in 2016 for running the half marathon and yesterday I took home the gold for the full marathon! Getting on the move!! One thing that I try to do daily is get my steps. I was fairly consistent last year at getting 10,000 steps. So I decided to up my game and go for 11,000 steps. I have a really active job. I am up and down and all around my facility including three flights of stairs multiple times during the day. But I am able to get them all because I committed to doing it. I want ya to know that you don’t have to get outta your house to achieve this goal or at least I don’t. My pic ⬆️ shows that I am inside and I don’t even have shoes on to get it done. My house has a circle floor plan so, I walk the 🔄. I’ll put on my headphones and listen to a podcast till I hit the mark. You don’t have to have a big house or specific floor plan to accomplish this. I will even make 🔄 around the pool table in my husband’s office, which really masquerades as a work bench. I do some laps too around the table during rest breaks in my workout too. I have walked the halls of a hotel we stayed in once on spring break to get my steps. This Consistent movement is good for me in the evening after dinner/before bed for my digestion as well. It really helps my stomach not to feel as bloated or full. Stop making excuses and get moving. Small changes like this can have a big impact!! You don’t have to do them all at once. Lately I've been feeling a bit down on myself, feeling like the goals I've set out for myself are too far out of reach. Just gotta remember that I can do whatever I set my mind to, anything worth having takes time and that funny motivational posts are fantastic for the soul.

So I was posting to my Facebook. But due to one person's negative feedback I will no longer post my progress or my daily walks. I've decided to get up 3 hours earlier every day so I start getting myself into a healthier more productive routine. Everyday for the past 9 days or so I've gone for an hour walk. It allows me to get a head start on my day. Clear my head. And overall just get some fresh air and exercise. I've had to overcome alot of self doubt. Thinking to myself that I will be fat. I will be alone. And unhappy with my life. But one day I woke up and said I was tired of hating my life and I wanted to make a difference. I wanted to change. I wanna show no matter how bad of a day your having. No matter what your inner demons are holding you back from doing with your life. You pave the way for the life you have. Im ready to be happy. Im ready to become healthy. Im ready to live the life I want. I will keep working. And striving for a better life. The future is bright and I'm ready.

Day 7: Strength ✔️ And that’s a wrap!

So I wasn’t going to post my results but I’m trying to be open with my journey. So here goes: +2lbs

Yup, those are both up from when I started. I STRUGGLED this week. I started off strong and ended weak. It’s not that I ate terribly, well yeah, I did but I also skipped meals toward the end. I was actually losing the first few days when I stuck to the eating plan but the last 3 days I didn’t and I can tell. I’m holding onto more bloat and I just don’t feel as good as I did before. 
I worked out every day (except yesterday, we lost power and I didn’t have internet, heat, lights, water). But I’m learning as I go it’s not all about working out, the 80/20 rule is so true, 80% nutrition and 20% working out. Someday I’ll find balance.

I saw this posted in one of our groups and just loved it!! I say it all the time measure & pay attention to other Non Scale Victories .... like how you FEEL! PLEASE stop letting the number on your scale dictate your success. Hell you can lose weight eating donuts every day if u wanted but that doesn’t mean you are helping your body get healthy! Stop Dieting and depriving yourself! Start Living and nourishing yourself! ...
