These wise words from Terry Tempest Williams will be shared as part of my Recognizing & Honoring Life Transitions workshop, this Sunday, 1/21/18 from 1-5p: "The palms of my hands search for a pulse in the rocks. I continue walking. In some places my hips can barely fit through. I turn sideways, my chest and back in a vise of geologic time. I stop. The silence that lives in these sacred hallways presses against me. I relax. I surrender. I close my eyes. The arousal of my breath rises in me like music, like love, as the possessive muscles between my legs tighten and release. I come to the rock in a moment of stillness, giving and receiving, where there is no partition between my body and the body of the Earth." (from Desert Quartet) Only three spots left! Dealing With Unwanted Attention: is one of the topics that we here at The Emerge Forum very strongly and very passionate about when talking to women. We recently conducted a survey in which nearly every woman who responded said that they had experienced unwanted attention. It can feel shameful, embarrassing, threatening, and downright scary. All of these feelings are absolutely valid. We are here to help empower you to deal with it when it happens. Check out our website for upcoming workshops where you can learn our tactics for dealing with unwanted attention from strangers, friends, and family. Take back your power and walk with your head held high. ✨🦋✨
Question: are you the type who normally looks for answers from others thinking they could provide the light that totally brightens the way for you? Teachers, gurus, fortune tellers, friends, family, self help books- you name it?
Do you so often tell yourself that the answers are going to come if you just sit in one more meditation session or journal one more page? ✨✨✨✨
Or that the confidence in _________(insert fear here) will come if you just practice three more times to get things perfect before you start? Or google the info from one more blog?
Me too, loves!
I'm doing a Facebook live in our Vibrant Visionary FB group tomorrow and infusing some of this into the topic. I went from hesitant in EVERYTHING (oils user>>doterra customer>>doterra builder) to finally just a heart led leader doing things the best I can in each moment moving forward.
I joined 7 other doterra biz babes to create this group (none of us are actually in one another's personal organizations) but we're in similar levels and trying our best to do network marketing in a meaningful way...as authentic and genuinely US as possible with no repetitive hounding...and especially not looking at everyone we meet as our potential customer 😂 right @kayla_coulas? We alllll have met that person. ✨✨✨✨
If you're a bit drawn to network marketing / doterra as a model for your business and can't quite figure out why...or you are on my team and are already committed to the business but need a bit of inspo... OR maybe you've been using the oils and feel like you can't help but share your passion for them but you have an icky taste from other network marketing experiences or lots and lots of fear.... come into our group, it's not too late:). Message me and I'll send you the link💗
If you’re looking for a book to inspire your way of living every day, choose this one. It’s broken into daily devotions and reflections that are a quick morning read. This book has been so inspirational lately and I notice the mornings I don’t read it.
I started reading it recently after I’d realized I needed to re-establish a few rituals and routines in my day for grounding and spiritual guidance. The daily messages are so powerful.
Have you read any inspirational books lately? Do tell!
I don't know about you, but this idea that we "never fully arrive" instantly relaxes me. It somehow relieves the pressure we all seem to put on ourselves (to varying degrees) that we need to get somewhere or be someone. I am completely for getting clear on what we want in life, to have a sense of meaning and purpose, and then doing everything possible to make that happen (hmm...I am a life coach after all!). But I am also a big believer in allowing room for the spontaneous and unexpected to arise. And sometimes I think if we cling too hard to how we want things to be we risk becoming myopic and we lose the ability to let other (often life-changing) things in ✨. =====
Sometimes it's good to be reminded that there is no certainty. That nothing is permanent. The idea that life is dynamic and constantly changing and that our job is to stay present with what is. To pay attention and to notice. For me personally this is a constant work in progress! =====
What are your thoughts? Do you try to cling to certainty? How do you balance striving towards goals vs staying in the present moment? Please feel free to share below xo
Our stories make us human. It is so much easier to relate to a story than to a “message” that you are trying to portray. “Your story worth millions” like @danelledelgado teaches us. Connect through your stories with raving fans who will love you forever
I've done this so many times and probably so have you.⠀
The mistake that we ALL make is to take the easy way out.⠀
You know, the one where you 'default' to doing that comfortable thing when you know deep down, that there's SO MUCH MORE.⠀
To 'tap out' before we even begin.⠀
I'm guilty of it.⠀
And I also ride waves in and out of inaction.⠀
But I want to say to you,⠀
That hiding doesn't feel good.⠀
That draining feeling, complete exhaustion at the end of the day.⠀
That's from FORCING ourselves to stay small.⠀
Because we never were, but only kept ourselves contained.⠀
We're halfway through January 2018 and I want to extend an invitation to you.⠀
Move beyond what you know.⠀
Because on the other side, is where your dreams lie. Where your soul beams. And your heart gives thanks to you.⠀
If you're ready to live RIGHT NOW true to you in full expression of your life purpose, heart mission and the lifestyle that you want,⠀
If you're aching to get started but don't know how and need clarity for the direction and how-to,⠀
Then on my profile link and schedule a free powerful conversation with me to create a magical blueprint for your path this year.⠀
Let's do this together so that we don't wait any longer. ANY of us.⠀
Here's your chance to have all that clarity, action plan and that you were looking for. Just set up our date via my profile link!⠀

I haven’t been completely honest. It’s not that I’ve lied, but a lot that I’ve written about since childbirth 3 months ago has been cheery and blissful. But this life transition has not all been that way. It seems that I’m just more motivated creatively to write when I’m experiencing those moments. This baby has changed my life and me as a person immensely, and I believe in sharing our life journey with one another.
But what I’ve not written about are the periods of extreme worry and wonder. Of the bouts of anxiety and minor depression. Of the rage at my husband in the early postpartum days. Of the times my nervous system is so frazzled and full of fried nerves that I have to put myself to sleep with “Zen Music for the Anxious Mind” because no amount of lavender, stress relief herbs or deep breathing can bring me back to homeostasis.
Or the time I had to give my baby up for a half a day cuz I couldn’t get out of bed from such fried nerves and major sleep deprivation. And then the next week “checking myself in” to the Doc’s office for postpartum meds (at this point I haven’t started them, but like the security of having them). Sometimes my mind races so much that I crawl through my own skin — the mind can be a scary place to be at times. But not always.
But those anxious times are less fun to write about. And honestly, it’s this full spectrum of emotions that make me, and maybe you too, so human. It’s this full range of emotions and experiences that motivate me to write at all. And so it is.
It’s the darkness that makes light even possible. It’s knowing these dark places that allow me to fully embrace the moments of bliss. It’s knowing they won’t last forever, nor will the darker times. The yin to the yang. It’s knowing that “this too shall pass” —both the good and the bad. The sleepless nights as well as the nights baby is good to me. It’s trying to embrace all of it.
And so it is.
You’ve decided THIS will be your year – the year you stop settling for less because it’s comfortable. The year you finally break through that life/career/business/relationship plateau that’s had you feeling stuck.
The year you go from self-doubt and indifference to finding your confidence again, letting go of the old and everyone else’s issue and embrace what’s new for you!
Well! I have the perfect solution for you if you’re a self-motivated action taker who needs a little guidance and support. Tap link in bio to learn more @fayferguson
I woke up early this morning, on a Saturday mind you, and all I wanted to do was go back to bed. But babies do not understand a Saturday from a Wednesday. After I got over the annoyance, I had a thought... this is the tiredest yet most awake ever felt. The most exhausted yet most exhilarated. Instead of soaking in the annoyance of not getting to sleep in, I chose to embrace what is (after all, could I really change the reality and make a baby go back to bed? No).
Babies have a way of breathing new life into you. Whether it’s birthing a child, a project or a creative endeavor, go after that thing that breathes life into you. For when you breathe this, the air is recycled amongst each other and feeds into the lives of others.
I’m excited to be sitting here at a coffee shop with my baby, husband, coffee and journal, ready to write and keep this awakened breath of life going. Life has taken on so much more meaning. More writing is in the woodworks.
Oh, and if you’re interested in staying in the loop, please sign up to receive my newsletters (see bio). I’d love to share more of this life with you.
Too often we feel like there is too much holding us down. When in reality there is nothing holding us down. There are only hurdles that we must climb over to reach the destiny we want.
These hurdles might feel like we have no control over them but there is a way around them. Trust, believe and keep working on you. You will get where you want to be. #destiny#believeinyourself#youareincontrol

Thank you Owl Medicine ~
Owl has been hovering near me all week in dreams, journeys, on an evening walk, painting by a friend and today in the form of a gift.
Owl for me is always a reminder that changes is abreast. Often owl has show herself to remind me to use my intuition to see what others may not be seeing., to look beyond the masks being shown, to remind me that I have wisdom and to trust it. While all of those make sense, I feel deeply that this message from owl is more about a symbolic meaning- death of the way things have been.
This is about a life transition and change. I remember when any change was a struggle. Not now. I am smiling as I welcome what is coming, whether smooth sailing or with some challenges. I am ready and willing.
You do not have to know all of the answers to life. That would make life boring!
It can feel overwhelming to never know what's around the next bend. Instead of stressing do the best that you can do by taking the actions that you know are the next step. you don't have to know what the ending is to make forward movement in your life. Stop being afraid of the unknown and move forward. #moveforward#takeaction

Just trying to figure it all out. I am by nature a very positive person but lately I’ve been struggling with what it is that will make me happy. It’s so frustrating because I want to live a happy life and be productive but lately I am having a hard time figuring out what I want to do next. Taking care of my grandmother for the past three years was one of the hardest jobs I’ve ever had but I would not have traded it for anything. When she passed away in June I knew that there would be a transition period but I didn’t think it would be this hard to figure out what I want to do. I definitely want to get some sort of part-time job so that I can interact and be the people and be self sufficient. person but every time I think about it I get overwhelmed. I’m not interested in doing a corporate thing again been there done that but I do not want to sit at home. I have a few ideas of possible things that I could do but unfortunately I can’t get it started. #livingmybestlife#lifetransitions#beinghappy#onestepatatime#askingforhelpisok 🍀❤️😃🐕☀️
I’m curious my friends. When do you feel the most connected to your heart?
Last Saturday I took a guided #meditation class with #selenite @the_yogalounge. When it was over, I felt incredibly connected to my body, my heart, my soul.
Change! It is constant, yet not always consistent. Just remember than when you’re in your darkest times, change can happen in an instant! Positive change! Think of us as your fairy godmother! We use style and confidence building to empower you to emerge into the next phase of your life! ✨🦋✨
Too often we wait for somebody to give us the answers. We wait for somebody to tell us what to do and how to do it. We feel like other people are wiser and smarter about us than we are.
Take your power back find your own answers , believe in your own ability to know what you need. The answers are inside you.

Anytime you are experiencing a life transition it can be easy to get caught up in the actual transition. While this is necessary we also need to remember to focus on the future and our personal growth.
Remember to take time to dream about the next phase of your life and put things in place to get you there.
Pay attention to when you aren't moving on like you should and take the steps to keep moving forward.
