This girl did dumbbell #shoulderpress with a pair of 12s for a few reps for the first time since #injury today 🙏 I honestly believed I would never be fixed at times & now that she's coming back, I am so appreciative of every ounce of sweat, tears & effort I have poured into my recovery. I upgraded to a Rappd lifting belt at a fitness expo and it has been the best belt ever - except a minor buckle issue. They saw me mention this and notified me that they redesigned the whole thing to fix it and make it the best belt out there.  I received my new and improved belt today and couldn't wait to test it. 
They were right - the whole belt is so vastly improved. The materials, the lining and the buckle. 💗💗💗 It is seriously SOOO GOOD. I love it 💖

I'm going to be honest with u. I fell waayy off since the death of my great-grandma. So many other bad thing happened to my family over the course if the last 2 weeks and I couln't handle them in any other way than bingeing. I also got sick which also always triggers me. It was bad. But it wasn't as bad as it has been before.

I'm back at work today and the goal for the rest of the week is to stabilize and come back to not overeating anymore. Also, I want to conciously take some me time every day to write down things I'm thankful for and reflect on things that have happened, what actions I'm proud of and what I could have done differently.

It's hard currently, I'm not gonna lie. But I promise, I am going to be better tomorrow, even better the day after and so on.

Sometimes it's ok not to be ok. But u can't stay at this state, u gotta take action and make changes, bc u are the only one who can do this. U can do this!

Few weeks back when Jade did her first ever leg session. She never done any of these exercises before, but she is fast learner and always train hard . 
When you learn new exercises is important to know few things:
Your body mobility and range of movement
Good technique 
Why do you do this exercise, etc
Squats, lunges and dead lifts are one of the  best leg exercises but i have clients who don't do them at the start of their personal training journey. The reason why is because their body is not ready ,  mobility is very poor,they have no idea how to braise their core, muscles are lazy.
I see on a daily basis very poor technique, people using way too heavy weight , no control and very poor range of movement.

I always have some chiaseeds and psyllium mixed with some kind of nut and most often cinnamon. I like it and the psyllium has a good impact on my stomach to feel much better. And in the cold time if the year tea can never be the wrong decision. Have a great day. Just two more till the weekend! .

Creamiest oats everrrrr!!! 50g of oats, 1 scoop of vanilla #myprotein  whey, 1 teaspoon of flaxseed, squeeze of #myprotein maple syrup drops, 1 teaspoon of Cinnamon, 1 teaspoon of honey, 1/2 cup of frozen berries, 1/2 cup of almond milk and 1 cup of water. Mix together within a saucepan and heat up. I did mix 1 tablespoon of Greek thick yoghurt within it to add more protein but also make it that extra thick and creamy 😍 
Yesterday I was flagging terribly, I couldn't even do any cardio based exercises, let alone deadlift, so used that as a rest day and after this hefty bowl of oats will combine Deadlifts, core and cardio in today's workout. 
If you feel like your body can't go any further, take a rest day, have a glass of wine and rewind a little. It won't kill your progress. You'll just damage yourself by pushing your body even further within an exhausted state. ✌

8 weeks ago today, I started training with my PT and learnt everything there is to know about weights and the benefits of lifting. Today, I decided to see how my results were coming along and I couldn't believe what I was seeing in the mirror. Im only 5kgs lighter but my trainer said not to pay attention to that since muscle weighs more. I've lost inches around my waist and arms, and it feels amazing. This alongside the #tiu21 meal plan is just a bonus to see results! Going mostly vegetarian (flexitarian???) helps too #yayyyresults 🙂💚

So the DOMS have hit yesterday mid-morning after Tuesday's #ladieswholift class with @claires_cuts_curves and it's been getting worse. Don't think they've ever been this painful. So my run this morning was dreadful. Don't think I ran a 6-minute km since shortly after I started running more than 3 years ago. I still managed to run even though I can barely walk. #thestrugglecontinues #morningrun #runningwithmydog #doms #liftingweights #feelingthepain #nopainnogain #achingmuscles #gettingfitter #gettingslower #notgivingup #keepinghealthy #keepingfit

Left picture was taken mid semester of my freshmen year in college. I never gained the “freshmen 15” that many people talked about. Instead I lost a lot of weight I got down to 98 POUNDS😑. Stress and being in a new place got to me. I focused solely on cardio and binge eating at that time. I was skinny but very unhealthy.

Middle picture was 8 months after having my daughter. I was doing 0 physical activity and ate anything I craved. High carbs and sugary foods were my go to. I was so UNHAPPY in how I felt and depressed. Nothing fit me and I hated taking pictures. I needed to change.

Right picture was taken yesterday. I’m so incredibly proud of where I’ve come. I eat a lot of whole nutritious food as well as giving into my cravings just in moderation. Lifting heavy and cardio 1/2 times a week. I feel AMAZING!!! I’m still no where close to where I want to be but I’m getting there daily. Main thing that has been the biggest #transformation for me has been my mental health. I have a new fresh perspective on life. Curl me up said the bar to my biceps 💪🏻 😅 really took my time this morning for my biceps & triceps workout. So I had to cut down the reps on my abs exercises. But I wasn’t sad about that 😂 .

I am only doing minimum cardio at the moment as my focus is to build muscle and shape up. It's good to keep your cardio up and keep fit, but too much prolonged cardio it's not recommended if are trying to build muscle and more shape where you want it. 
My best tip for building your glutes is to go heavy and eat accordingly. Make sure to fuel your body with lots of energy while building muscle! 💪🏻💋
