I did 3x10-12 of:
Bench Press
Lat Pull downs
Inclined DB Press
Bicep Curls+Arnold Press
Tricep Push downs

And then, a more systematic run on the #treadmill #treadmillworkout -- Lo/Hi speeds at 4.5kph and 6.5kph. Wanted to run longer in an anaerobic HR zone. Did low speed at 5mins, decreasing every round by a minute followed by high speed increasing every round. Was able to eventually progress to a 15min run unbroken at 6.5kph. The first for me. All one hour. So happy about this accomplishment :) #liss #lissworkout #anytimefitness #anytimefitnessuptc

5km in a time of 43.25🏃 Our personal best!! 🏆🥇 We still walked 400m and jogged 600m except the last stretch in which we jogged 900m home. In the beginning we ran 5km in a little over 50min and now we almost did it in 40min. All the things I’m super excited about today. @daveskillerbread Bagels. 13g of protein, I tried to put the macros up from MFP, sorry if you actually want to read them, so small.  Then I got the stair master by the window, #liss for just 35 minutes cause it’s laundry day. Wore the tightest shirt ever, reminds me to tuck in my abs tho.  Also stopped by @gnctanforan for some new and old @questnutrition goodies. And that’s my day 4 of 84 #sweat12wc #bbg #bbgmum #2018ilovemechallenge #stairmaster

So today I attended an event for women only at my work on PERSONAL BRAND - side note: I work in a male dominated industry (hi finance + oil) so they’re going out of their way to support women.
Now, I would say just like others I am not 💯 confident in what I should be - - working on it - - but I actually kind of surprised myself today. So here are a few takeaways/things for you to think about since I want YOU to grow too

Take a ✏️ and a piece of paper and write down your answers:
1️⃣ who is a leader you admire? what qualities do you admire about them? Do you see those qualities in yourself?
2️⃣what do other people say are your strengths? {ASK 3 people}
3️⃣for 1:00 MINUTE write down what you think are your strengths
4️⃣how do you communicate your strengths? Do you need to communicate more?
5️⃣what are three things you want to work on this year? When will you do this? What resources do you need to do this?

In my next post I’m going to share my answers. But specifically when I did number 3 I surprised myself. I wrote down A LOT. And my reaction was “wow you’re kind of arrogant”
🛑 STOP. NO. I am NOT arrogant. I am confident. And I realized that I believed in myself WAY more than I thought about a range of different things. But I sure as hell don’t make sure I get enough credit {at work}

Just got home from dinner with one of my best girlfriends from college and found this at my door! Eeeeee 😍😍😍 so excited to try all of theses! I’ve been using the Vegan Vanilla Protein powder for about a year now but I am trying the chocolate for the first time. Swam laps for an extra 10 minutes because I got paranoid when the family at the pool appeared to have left but the dad stayed. I decided I would swim until he left or a woman came came in. Luckily I was just paranoid and the mom came back in with her three kids. Anyone else get weird paranoia when working out alone, or am I just super weird? Great stretching after yesterday’s leg day, which btw, wasn’t total #deathbykayla. What?! Yes, I’m a bit sore today, but I can walk & sit like a normal human. #goodnews. #progress.

Hi friends! So today was day three at the gym this week! 😊 I have been doing well with working out and have been eating healthy since Tuesday ! I started to write a fitness & food journal, and I am hoping it helped keep me motivated and accountable! •
Truthfully, @ninafitstagram inspired me tonight to write about my own personal experience recently with binge eating.
So first of all, I am someone who will eat until I am so full that I feel sick to my stomach. One of my goals this year is to eat slowly and eat smaller portions. -
On Sunday night I binge ate when I got home from work.. I ate sour patch kids, sour cherry blasters, chips and a fudge sickle all in one sitting... I  immediately regretted all of it. When I woke up Monday I decided I was going to stop doing that to myself and my body. I know I deserve more than that. So I went to the gym Monday and started eating healthy which I have been the remainder of the week. -
I think it’s so important for people to post about their insecurities and the things that aren’t “perfect” painting a perfect picture for your followers. When I read @ninafitstagram ‘s story I was completely connected with what she wrote and THATS what’s important during this journey. Finding people that you connect with & motivating each other 💓 -

Yesterday’s workout. After Tuesday’s leg workout my knee injury started to play up so I took Wed as my rest day. Yesterday I was feeling super lazy but convinced myself to get motivated and do #week1 #armandab workout. Only problem is, I locked myself out of home 🙈 hahahaha. So I had to kill time until my husband came home, and the only option I had was to hide out at the gym! So like it or not, it was #liss day again (I don’t do resistance workouts at the gym, I’m way too shy around all those fit guys and girls on the resistance equipment). Super proud of my effort though, I’ve increased my jogs to 9km/h (5 mins at 6.5km/h, then 5 mins at 9km/h with the last jog min at 10 km/h). Hoping to get to my pre-break fitness levels by April. I know I’ve said it before, but I’m going to say it again. I looove doing my liss during my lunch break at work! I don’t have to wake up at 4:30 and then feel rushed to get ready for work and it feels SO good to be able to move after sitting for 5 hours! I had time for a full 45 minutes today and almost made it to 3mi! dinner tonight was so good: Beef burger patty, a bit of sharp white cheddar, grilled and raw onions, grilled bell pepper, tomato, jalapeños avocado and lettuce 🍔🍔

I realllly considered making today a rest day and taking it easy tonight BUT I knew I’d be disappointed and regret my decision. So, I came home, bundled up, and went on a 4.5 mile run. And man, it was AMAZING. I’m so glad I sucked it up and went.

Did some #liss and #bbgweek13abs and I added some extra biceps/tricep moves at the end.  I’m just a little bit beyond frustrated. I’m feeling like fucking president of everything and  I have shit I need to do too, you know to keep my self sane. But day after day I clean, and clean, and cook and then clean again and then pick up and then wash and go to work and then get home wash, clean, cook. I’m.burned.out. I cannot even find comfort in working out cause all I can think about is the sink of dishes waiting for me and my full laundry basket, and why do I have to make two dinners, will Amelia ever eat what we eat? Ughskshdidm rhaidnrowhsnsn. end rant(on instagram it’ll be going in my head untill I fall asleep.) also, I’m trying to very hard to stay positive and “on top” instead of “under” all these things.... It’s a slippery slope, so trying is the KEY word.

Since #PWR involves so much lifting, I’m trying to incorporate some cardio separately. Took another class at @speedhousestudio today with Lisa and I must say the music was 🔥🔥 I’m still terrible at spinning lol but it’s still a great workout 💪🏼🚴🏽‍♀️

Some notes about #bbg because I am still a huge fan of the guides and I know lots of girls have started this week 💁🏼‍♀️ I’m doing the @sweatwithjenn guide now and LOVING it so far but I’ll probably still throw the odd #bbg circuit in there as HIIT every now and then because apparently I’m a huge sucker for the #deathbykayla (I never said I don’t have issues 🤪) .
-Firstly: I legitimately thought I was genetically unable to have abs until I did BBG. The combo of low intensity cardio (#liss), #hiit, and resistance training circuits are absolutely on point for burning fat and letting those abs emerge 🤗 .
-It’s a great guide for beginners as it really teaches the basics of resistance training- at the same time, it is NOT easy (leg day absolutely destroys me every single time) so it’s great for more advanced worker-outers too. .
-Lots of ladies do the program through the #sweat app, but I have actually always used the PDF guides- these are a great option if you don’t want to pay weekly and would prefer just a one off cost. .
-This is also a great program if you like doing your own thing too- Kayla states that you can do anything you want for #liss as long as your heart rate is in the right zone, so you could potentially do any sport of cardio for it..
-It is super time efficient! 30minutes three times a week plus 3 days of your choice of cardio can fit into basically everyone’s schedule 🎉.
-Finally- progress takes TIME! Yes some people see crazy results in 12 weeks but LOTS of us need longer to see more progress. I was reasonably fit when I started #bbg and only really started seeing my body change significantly after 2 rounds (24weeks). Be patient and don’t give up!

I’m really excited and nervous all at the same time. For those of you who don’t know, the D.D. Double is 18.1 miles, that’s two miles short then a full marathon 😬😬. I’ve always wanted to run a marathon, but I kept finding reasons not to, but I decided NO MORE! So, I paid the fee for the D.D. Double, which is almost a marathon, and now on to training for it 😬.

I’m excited to see what my body is capable of when it comes to running and I will definitely be getting in my BBG LISS workouts during my training for this even in May 👍🏽.

Ok today was a day full of self care and everything about it rocked my world. I listened to my body and gave it everything it craved. I woke up and started the day off with #LISS while the rest of my house slept. An hour, all to myself to start the day right. The kids headed off to school and I went to do some stretch yoga. After a lovely coffee outing, and a fulfilling smoothie, I picked my kids up from school and took them to the gym. On Thursdays our gym offers a program for 6-12 year olds where they have a gym attendant helping guide their activities which means parents can have some time at the gym alone. What a beautifully spent day full of fitness. It was spread over 12 hours but I feel great, and so does my body. This podcast was also incredible for anyone looking for something insightful 👌🏼

Wore the wrong shirt for doing front squats😫 I haven’t done front squats in a while and my collar bones stick out a lot so I have red marks on my shoulders and end of my collar bones which now feel like they’re bruised 😒 legs and booty are feeling sore from the work out too but I don’t mind that 🍑
