It's easy making friends in college. Everyone here is incredibly nice and if you don't like hiking or skiing you're one in a million in Bozeman. I'll admit though it's tough finding adventure buddies willing to get up at 4am with me.
Missing all you hiking bros back home
Hamnøy, Lofoten Islands, Norway, is the oldest fishing village in the stunning Lofoten archipel. It‘s small, but unbelievably beautiful.
Eighth entry for the #kuhrmarvinffa contest. Thanks for the opportunity to edit these great shots!
This is what happens when a group of free-spirited, creative gals come together: unpotted center pieces (look at that dirt!), terra cotta table runners, mix-matched tableware and whimsical watercolor menus. Oh and can’t forget about those baby apples 🍏
'The world is too noisy and distracted to probably ultimately survive. Everyone needs to shut the fuck up. The answers are in the silence. Monks set themselves on fire to protest and to make this point. Just consider it.'
On the 11th of this month, ‘Zuck announced that Facebook was returning to its roots by re-establishing the social media platform as a place that encourage connection between followers and equals time well spent for users. The brief article shared on the topic (link at the bottom of this post) portrays his thoughts on where Facebook has been and where he would like it to go (again). Facebook’s current algorithm places the most relevant content in your newsfeed based on interests and behaviors you exhibit while on the social media platform. This pushes friends, pages, and groups that it “thinks” you’ll enjoy interacting with to the top of your newsfeed.
So, what does this mean for businesses who use that platform to connect with customers every day?
We’re not 100% sure, but what we do know is that each post should spark engagement, conversation, and be less sales-y.
You won’t need to post every day because each piece of content can live on forever, as long as it encourages connectivity and communication. Likes, shares, comments, and additional reactions will keep your posts alive.
Facebook has stated that not much will change with Ad Manager, so your ads shouldn’t be effected, but should also spark engagement to gain optimal organic reach within newsfeeds. May the best ads win! .
We are all one, you and me.
It’s all just one, the mountains and the trees; the universe and the sea; the lava and the breeze.
We are one, you and me. Tilt your head into mine, feel the warmth inside, because that heat is you, and it’s me.
We are all just one, you and me 🌎
Can we talk about these leg rolls please? 😍 It was not so long ago that we were having major issues breast feeding, and I was so worried about Clementine gaining weight and getting enough to eat. I honestly never thought I'd see her so rolly-poly, especially from breast feeding alone. Here we are, months later, and we're a super feeding team going strong. Through tongue tied and Reynauds and lactation consultants and Facebook groups we did everything we could to persevere. I'm still on meds for my supply, and we DO supplement with a bottle of formula before she goes down for bed at night (I swear, she sleeps like a champ because of it) so it hasn't always been glamorous. To be honest, I've never worked so hard to succeed at anything in my entire life. It's been so worth it. Breastfeeding was not the journey I thought it would be, it doesn't look the way I thought it would (cue all the beautiful breastfeeding photography Instagram has to offer, NOPE), but here we are. Even if it hadn't worked for us, I would have been okay with it, knowing I had tried my damnedest to try to make it happen because let's be honest; fed is best. The proof is somewhere in those rolls!
For the first time in 3 years, we don’t have a single trip planned. It feels weird, & I’m sure it won’t last too long. We have a lot of “adulting” to do, but wherever 2018 leads us, I sure hope we have plenty of days on top of mountains. 💖
Throwing it back to last year when I did a stylized shoot in the woods with @astridjohanaphoto. One of my favorite things about photographing is being able to collaborate with other really talented creatives in so many different mediums. I have a handful of collaborations, online and IRL, coming up this year. Can’t wait to share 🙌🏻
