I remember when my grocery shopping runs consisted of grabbing mostly processed, packaged and frozen foods… when I chose not eat out of course haha
Although I tried to make the “healthiest” choices, I was often left with low energy, a mental fog, dragging through the day, and weight that would not budge. .
Honestly, I was left not feeling too great about myself! .
When my relationship with food changed, after being told I had insulin resistant PCOS, everything in my life began to shift. I no longer felt STUCK.
I started to truly understand the POWER of food and how it can make a substantial difference not only with my weight but how I experience life. .
It has allowed me to show up in life in a way that I am able to be my true authentic self! .
Choosing fresh vibrant foods has played an ESSENTIAL role in my wellness journey as I have dropped 70lbs, increased my energy, transform my relationship with food and gained more confidence!
I love that I now look forward to picking up fresh simple vibrant food from my local farmer's market to fuel my week! (time to re-up tomorrow!)
This is where I find the best quality and best tasting food to keep me energized, feeling great and vibrating high! .
Yes!! For me, food has been a gateway to deep internal love and fulfillment that had been missing for waaay too long.
This form of s e l f c a r e has changed my life!
I’ve realized now that my gift is being able to help others cause the same changes in their own lives.
Dm me if you have any questions 💕💕💕
C E L E R Y J U I C E. If there’s only one thing I could choose from the @medicalmedium Healing cleanse, this would be juicing in the morning.I tried many green juice recipes in the past and most of them were super delicious, yet would leave me very hungry and cause a lot of anxiety.Anthony’s simple recipes though have had a very calming effect🦋It might be the raw food and the extra Kangoo classes as well but for the first time in months,I didn’t have negative thoughts about my body or self-criticism.As a person who’s been on a love-hate relationship with her body almost the entire life, this is something I’m really proud of.Day 6 has brought a lot of peace and am so so so grateful for this feeling.I had the same smoothies and also made the Healing Soup for the first time and it truly was like a balm for the soul-raw yet very filling, sweet and salty at the same time and very nourishing. Will definitely do it again💕 All these recipes have reminded me that plant-based food is amazing for us🥒🍊🍅🍌🍋🥑🥦🥝(&yes,I am a bit obsessed with white&black T-shirts🙈)

Digestion is a topic I am very passionate about because I personally went through many years of digestive problems. I had no conscious connection to how the foods – or more like "non-foods" that I was putting into my body were affecting my digestion.
Digestion is the foundation for good health. If our digestive system is not functioning optimally, our whole body is compromised. Did you know that the strength of our immune system is dependent on the strength of our digestive systems? This contributes to the cause of MANY common issues such as; constipation, acne, water retention, bloating, IBS, weight gain, seasonal flu’s, and many more... As a culture, we have developed a fairly common habit of simply throwing whatever is most convenient and tastiest into our mouths and letting the digestive system ‘figure out’ what to do with it. It is no wonder that so many of us live with daily diseases such as bloating, gas, constipation, diarrhea, stomach aches, nausea, heartburn, and low energy. A large contributing factor to these problems is the fact that we are both ingesting ‘non-foods’, and improperly combining real foods.
It is essential to have a basic understanding of how the digestive system works, what foods to eat, when to eat them and why the digestive system is so important to overall well being. Education and practice are what will allow for your body to thrive long term.
By reconnecting with your body and understanding its signals you will not only increase your vitality but you will be able to make the necessary connections that will allow you to thrive!
From time to time, I’ll hear someone remark that my kid’s are spoiled by my cooking. I get it—it’s not everyone’s passion therefore it never becomes their forte. But lately I’ve been thinking a lot about intentionality and backing up what I say I believe with action and not just flimsy words. And I think about this life we’ve chosen and about alternative options. And I think that if we really believe what we say, then our actions will follow, whether there’s passion there or not. Because it’s right, not always fun or easy. What if, instead of spoiling our kids rotten, we spoiled them right? What if instead of gifts that break or lose their luster, we gave them the gift of an abundant life. A life not filled with things but with time. A life filled with good health, a sharp mind, a sense of humor and the ability to focus. A life filled with promises of longevity, fertility, and a sound mind. A strong identity and a sense of purpose. Toys have their place and I’m not saying never, but we only get one chance to live this life and the kids we have are ours to steward for as long as we have them. I refuse to answer for ailments, conditions and pain I could have prevented had I simply done the hard work, laid a good foundation and lived the life I said I believed in. I’m far from perfect in this journey, but I no longer lack intentionality. And I’m not good at everything I try but failing has never kept me from succeeding. I muse out loud to encourage you to do the hard things you say you believe in even if you don’t love them and even if you stink at them. Keep at it. It’s worth it. You’re loving your kids well. And they’ll notice—they won’t see your failures, they’ll see how deeply you loved and how great the cost. And before long, your kids will be spoiled too. To your cooking, your time, your love. Spoil them right, mamas!! Let’s raise up mighty warriors!! 💗💗 #thehonestmotherhood#honestmom#honestmotherhood#realfood#slowfood#livingfood#farmacy#sourdough#sourdoughbread#love#raisinguparrows#raisingarrows
Morning goodness. I didn’t get a chance to get very good pics because I was racing against my willful toddler who needed to get her hands on the goodies! 😂. You get the point tho, we have some delicious food for the morning.
Tip: If you frequent fast food chains for breakfast, order your breakfast sandwich with egg and cheese (sans meat). Cuts the saturated fat, sodium, and overall calories. May also cut your waistline if you eat like that most mornings. Also, your pocketbook, because it’s often cheaper without the meat.
Living liquids aka fruit juices. Straight pineapple on the left, halfblood orange - lemon - ginger - turmeric on the right. Cleansing and nourishing. Flushing and charging. Pair with daily excersise and intermittent dry fasting and unlock super human powers. ⚡
eating like queens yesterday at @lifefoodorganic in Santa Monica 🥑 every time we eat is an opportunity to nourish our bodies from the inside out. incorporating fresh raw foods, and dark leafy greens is a great way to get in those essential nutrients✨I usually put a couple handfuls of spinach into my smoothie to get in my greens for the day ✌🏻
• New addiction alert 🚨: Healthy and raw candied walnuts just getting out of my @excaliburdehydrator made with activated walnuts, maple syrup, coconut flakes, cinnamon and pearl powder. It's going to be hard not to snack on them all day 🤤•
Miso breakfast day 3.
Still surprised how well this soup fills me up. Its so liquidy and still i feel fulfilled still hours after eating it.
Today i prepared strong ginger water for the base stock, and added an organic egg to it. eggs are a great source of choline,
Choline is an important precursor for acetylcholine, one of the most common neurotransmitters. Very important for cells function , especially in the brain. Getting enough choline enhances cognitive abilities so basically makes us smarter ! Oh an not to forget the strong Green tea making its magic!
Have a great day everyone 💎🌹 #fermented#miso#livingfood#nutrition
New video with recipe of this raw veggiecake on both my youtube chanels (rawveganse (svenska) & rawveganse) is now uploaded! This is raw vegan winter food on high level ;D Warming flavours, filling & just so delicious! And look at this little green pea sprouts on top of it! I got the seeds from @sproutlystore & they turned out very beatiful & delicious! Its like frozen peas, but crunchy instead of soft, the sprouts are also more bitter & nutty instead of sweet. The crunchiness is just perfect together with the soft veggiecake! Try it & let me know what you think! :)
(🇵🇹⬇️) Hello from #singapore ! 👋 I’m eating fully raw for a while now and one of my goals for this year is to become 100% raw vegan - although I’ve already known I will need to eat cooked food while doing Vipassana Meditation course, which is fine because I’ll be also clearing my mind ☺️ -, but today I was less frutarian. 😛 I was missing salty flavors after spending 2 days eating mainly fruits, so my body was asking for more veggies. So I searched on Google and I found out that Afterglow by Anglow seems to be one of the best raw food restaurants here in town. And actually it didn’t disappointed at all!😍 The appetizer was superb! 😋 I ordered this avocado kimchi rolls and for the main dish I chose zucchini linguine & walnut meat balls (second picture). So yummy!! 😋 And finally I asked a lychee #kombucha to drink. 👌🙏🏻
😍 A entrada estava suberba!! 😋 Pedi este sushi feito com #kimchi e abacate e para prato principal um linguini de curgete e ”almôndegas” de noz (segunda imagem). Tãoooo bom!! 😋 E para beber foi uma kombucha de líchias. 👌🙏🏻
⛽ Morning fuel today is a jar of beetroot, carrot and cucumber juice 💪
🌈I've began to taste a whole new spectrum of subtle flavours of every fruit and vegetable since removing all salt, spices and flavour enhancers from my diet. The gentle earthy sweetness of a beetroot, the slight saltiness of celery are hard to describe, they can only be experienced. Enjoy the gifts of nature in their purest, raw form and you'll never go back to artificial taste surrogates. 🌿🌞💚
Meyer lemons. They’re a cross between regular lemons and mandarin oranges. Compared to a common lemon they’re less acidic, much sweeter and luring with an amaaaazing scent.
So blessed to have a tree of them in our garden 🙏🏻🌳🍋
Have you tried them??

Cherry Tomatoes are one of our favorites - a mouthful of these, packs a lively punch. Tomatoes make great travel snacks especially in the holidays. Not to mention these little sweet cheery tomatoes feel right at home on a salad.
PINEAPPLE & RAW BEE POLLEN for breakfast! 🍍🍍🍍🐝🐝🐝 Pineapple is recommended to be consumed in morning, actually in the first part of the morning, its
effects are best seen when the fruit is consumed between 4.00am to 10.00am. It is an excellent source of fiber which helps gut motility as well as promoting the growth of friendly bacteria. When in combination with raw bee pollen, which is itself a remarkable source of bacterial cultures, not only that help improving the probiotic flora, but also the villi cell health.
The raw bee pollen is perfect in the morning, but also great towards afternoon as it's very energising.
