Celebrating my wife's birthday with friends. This year's cake theme is Eli from #lovelive along with lots of food 😁 it was really good. I've been getting custom cakes from Konditor Meister for years. We went to our favorite hot pot place to host it. The owner even played the birthday song over the TV. We pitched in and got her this crazy #cardcaptorsakura figurine 😲. Later we got more food with more friends after some DDR sessions.

Really appreciate @google for doing this mini popup yesterday! I didn't win a mini, but I got some pretty donuts as consolation. Sadly, they were actually pretty stale when I ate them (maybe because they've been made way beforehand?). Still can't complain, they were free after all. || Google Mini Donut Shop Popup
New Seasonals : cranberries and orange mix match perfectly our romanesco!
We love them in the Habanero Hippie Bowl, Mike's Greens, or we go crazy and add the cranberries in the Breakfast Grains & Greens (you know, all day Breakfast Salad). You can add them to almost anything really.
trekked over to sham shui po. heard good things about this 蛋牛治 - not bad! made with fresh minced beef and not the usual corned beef. Their 南乳豬手 was tender but not much 南乳 taste and skin still had hair - won't order again.

So excited to be settled in at home and ready to tackle clean eating now that I’m not mid move. I can’t wait to get back that light and healthy feeling of eating well 😍
We got to check out @currybo_nyc recently and we’ll definitely come back. I love the simplicity of their menu. Japanese comfort food is perfect for the colder seasons! Btw, we hope you all had a great weekend 😊

Very local spot with mostly salarymen and single guys. Clean, cheap and friendly service. The plastered all over is quintessential colour for symbolizing deep rootes tradition.
Soup: Tonkotsu shoyu base but but surprisingly not heavy nor does it make you have cottonmouth. Saltiness is balanced with lingering pork broth flavours caressing your pallette.
Noodles: Firm but quite slippery. Different from other thin noodle joints. This has texture that's different from the rest, making the experience unique.
Toppings: The 叉燒 is plentiful and they don't f@ck about when it comes to meat. Not as juicy as I thought it was but still noticeable. Boiled then slightly seared make s it a good presentation.
Go for this if your Japanese is good, adventurous and likes local ramen that's better than the average.
