We had the pleasure and privilege of sitting at the bar opposite Mr Adam Handling, who talked us through his exceptional 8 course tasting menu. Was tough to choose 10 photos - such an amazing meal. Still has the edge and creativity of the Brick Lane original, with a touch of decadence. The perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
"Learning to let go should be learned before learning to get. Life should be touched, not strangled. You've got to relax, let it happen at times, and at others move forward with it. It's like boats. You keep your motor on so you can steer with the current. And when you hear the sound of the waterfall coming nearer and nearer, tidy up the boat, put on your best tie and hat, and smoke a cigar right up till the moment you go over. That's a triumph.” ― Ray Bradbury, Farewell Summer
I'm learning to let go.

"And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it.” ― Roald Dahl
"My parents once said, 'Now, do not get a girlfriend when you go off to college, you will enjoy it much more if you are single!' My response - approaching a beautiful girl on the first day of class, and making her my girlfriend before our first Christmas break.⠀ Lucky for me, my parents have loved Alyssa from the first day they met her, and so did I. Fast forward four and a half years when I realized that Alyssa had never been across the big pond they call the Atlantic Ocean. We proceeded to book our trip, planning out 11 days through London, Barcelona, and Paris.⠀ We arrived in London with a ring hidden in the pits of my backpack. The plan for the night was to get dinner at a fancy restaurant near the Italian Gardens on the outskirts of Hyde Park. We arrived at the Italian Gardens around sunset, only to find a 'tourist' (Roberta) who was willing to take our picture. Roberta casually took a few pictures and then requested that Alyssa and I give 'one kiss'. This was my cue, and she said yes!⠀
I have never been great at listening to what my parents tell me to do, and 99% of the time they are right. However, this was my 1%, and this time I was right. I wouldn't change a thing about my college experience; I wouldn't change a thing about my proposal; and I wouldn't change a thing about the girl I am about to marry. Alyssa if you see this, I love you more than anything, and I cannot wait to do life with you!" - Ryan⠀
