This is the entrance hall of London's Natural History Museum. Most people visit this museum, because they're interested in natural history. That's great and I really like the collection and the information provided by the museum myself. But the building itself is stunning as well and a lot of visitors don't even realise and appreciate that. I was and I am still blown away by the architecture of this hall. To give this picture a little sense of scale, I'd like to mention that the skeleton which is hanging from the ceiling belongs to a full grown blue whale.
