Neal's Yard in Covent Garden will always be one of my favourite places. The color, the shops, the tasty food- all the bustle! This week feels along and it's only Tuesday (probably because I'm looking forward to Bratislava this weekend!) Is anyone else nervous about "forgotten bakes" tonight on Bake Off?
Storm Ophelia pulled dust up to London from Africa and Southern Europe, and the result was this eerie "orange" sky, perfectly caught by @lakudavies!

Inspiring day at @roysocmed's #MigrantHealth conference. Feeling truly lucky to live a beautiful city like London, not just for easy access to events like these but one that also allows access to safety, promoting freedom and tolerance. #thirtygiftsofgratitude
Recently receiving an incredible amount of love from all of you guys on my latest content ❤️ - Simply wanted to say thank you to all of you ppl 🤙🏽 & there are 3 new videos in the editing game, coming out for you soon 🎥 #BigBenUnderConstruction
We all love a sweet treat in the office but we’ve all been trying not to overindulge, with the festive season just around the corner we know that’s going to get harder as the weeks pass. So, we’re quite excited to come across these stunning cupcakes by local baker @belsizecakes who uses organic ingredients and less sugar.
Now we just need a special occasion so we can order some 😋
I popped into John Sandoe books the other day and it brought back fond but blurry memories of my love for reading. I'm in the middle of an incredible book at the moment (Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari) but we have hit a very rough sleep patch and I've been too exhausted to pick it up for weeks. Looking forward to finishing it when he goes to university.
Banoffle Crunch Bubble waffle?🙈.
Don’t let how nice this looks fool you! Well, the salted caramel ice cream was nice, and the fudge pieces were ok too, can’t say the same about the waffle though 🙄.
It tasted like it’s been made hours ago and left out in the open, hard to pull apart and felt like chewing on cardboard (think that’s what cardboard must taste like!), not crispy, not soft, not warm, definitely not nice 😅. Also, hardly any banana pieces...
Think I will stick to oriental bubble waffles lol.
I am starting to really love the way iPhone 7 Plus deals with night photos. Haven’t taken much of them before but now 😱 What camera do you use and what would be your dream camera? I’d really like Sony A9 or Leica M type 😅💸#sonyaplha
Located deep within the Docklands at Trinity Buoy Wharf, where the River Lee meets the River Thames, lies London’s only lighthouse.
In 1803, the site came to be used by The Elder Brethren of Trinity House which is now known as Corporation of Trinity House, and the seawall here was reconstructed in 1822, built by George Mundy of Old Ford.
The site was used as a maintenance depot, and storage facility for the many buoys that aided navigation on the Thames; and the wharf for docking and repair of lightships. The original lighthouse was built by the engineer of Trinity House, James Walker, in 1852, and was demolished in the late 1920s.
The surviving lighthouse was built in 1864-6 by James Douglass for Trinity House. It was used for lighting trials for Trinity House’s lights around England & Wales. Michael Faraday also carried out experiments there. #hiddenlondon#secretlondon#londonist#mylondon#londonblog#thisislondon#instalondon
We just got our copy of "This is London" by Miroslav Sasek - With the same wit and perception that distinguished his charming books on Paris, New York, and San Francisco. M Sasek presents stylish, elegant London in This is London, first published in 1959 and now updated for the 21st century. Here this beloved illustrator shares his impressions of London with its beautiful buildings, historic monuments, bridges, parks, shops and Piccadilly Circus, black cabs, Horse Guards, and famed Underground. Sasek has cast his loving eye on London and the result are colorful, sophisticated pictures of one of the most exciting cities in the world, paired with a lively text that keeps a playful sense of fun while taking the reader to the highlights of one of the world's great capitals 💂🏼♀️💂🏿💂🏼♀️💂🏻♀️💂🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
