Tried something different today and it was bloody lovely! Oats made with just 1/2 coconut milk, 1/2 water and 1/2 banana 🍌 Topped with mashed raspberries, @deliciouslyella granola, blueberries and peanut butter 🥜 Yeaaaaa 🙌🏼 Was getting bored of my usual oats and breakfasts, this may be a fav for a while...
These ain’t your mama’s PEAS ON TOAST! Looking for new ways to enjoy to enjoy our roasted peas? Look no further than @lifeboxfoodco for inspiration. Oh and they do amazing healthy boxes too and we're featured in this months release! .
Slap dash kinda #toasttuesday
@modernbaker life changing loaf toasted, one topped with @wildenuts turmeric mango cashew butter + frozen raspberry pieces, the second topped with @rawecstasy activated tahini, a sprinkle of sea salt, squeeze of lemon and @bravefoods garlic + chive roasted peas (these little morsels are seriously good)
One of the only plant based foods to be considered a 'complete protein' (containing enough of all nine essential amino acids necessary for our dietary needs), quinoa is also full of fibre, magnesium, calcium + vitamin E + we can't get enough! Add as many colourful vegetables as possible + enjoy with almond butter sauce for one of our favourite lunches ✨
Q: How can you have a vegan omelette? 🤔 A: when it's made with chickpeas like this one! Becoming vegan has allowed us to think more creatively when it comes to food and eating healthily, we love passing this passion on to all of our customers 💚
(Repost) > @whatcanyoueveneat: Thanks for the birthday tiramisus (not just my (W) birthday, my dad too) and for the lovely service @fedbywater, and the delicious meal from start to finish! Broke out of my comfort zone and didn't get the carbonara 😱 The charcoal calzone diavola was well worth going off piste!
First thing we did was heading straight to the beach of course. I love the smell of the sea, nothing can beat it. Afterwards we were searching for a restaurant. The app of @happycowguide always saves my life. It's so easy to use, it shows places near you or in a specific town. You can search for vegan places only but also for vegetarian, veg-options and stores. We found @thehappymaki which is 2 minutes from the pier and serves delicious maki rolls. They have seven different variations I think. You get one complete roll, not the small sliced pieces:) We really enjoyed it and were thinking about getting another one, but we also wanted to try different places that day:D So we found @vbitesbrighton not far away where we had delicious chocolate cake and shakes.
When i put this t-shirt on it means im about to put myself in the firing line....
8/10 conversations will end with that person genuinely thinking about their food choices and choosing a healthier lifestyle.
My eyes have been opened 💚✊🏼#veganlife#respectalllife#vegan
Excellent #LINDA with @brendamcintosh
Lindsay+Brenda dinner club - get it? 🤣 I know we are hilarious.
Best meal in ages. NOPI are so amazing they marked up our menu before we even arrived.
The Friggitello Peppers alone are a 10/10, would eat again.
Satay sauce has got to be the best comfort food. Here we have all the good fats, peanut, avocado, olive oil and coconut milk. I made a super coconutty black rice, sticky tofu , avocado and green beans covered with crunchy satay sauce I made.
Jheeeze well jack fruit's pretty mad, looking forward to playing around with it some more in the future, it's got so much potential.
Also in there; crunchy coleslaw (raw onion, cabbage & carrot), BBQ sauce, and a mayo style sauce shaken up in a jar using olive oil, tahini, lemon juice, english mustard, salt, & pepper.

This month’s open day takes a look ahead to the coming colder months, with an opportunity to skill-up and buy seedlings to plant for winter. From mustards and rocket to endive, kale, and chard, there are many choices when it comes to keeping your garden and your plate green over the coming cold months! As well as keeping up your vitamin and mineral intake for fighting winter illnesses, their fresh green leaves are a reminder and a harbinger of the next growing season – and they give you an early spring harvest too if you let some plants grow through.
As usual there’s also delicious lunch, coffee and cake served all day, a site tour and a forest opportunity for kids.
Seasonal Blitz morning: our weeekend volunteering opportunity, join us at 9.45 for a 10am-1pm session. We advise sturdy shoes and you are welcome to stay for the Hawkwood monthly Open Day afterwards. This month the focus will be on planting out winter salads.

The sexiest mushrooms I ever did see. I'm having a moment with mushrooms. I like them when they are past their best, damp and with a stronger funghi taste when they've been left in the fridge a bit too long. Fried in some olive oil, garlic and good sea salt, some fresh sage never goes a miss either
