M and I went and floated at Deep today. Floating is a great way to recover quickly from training/competing (I floated 2 days after my 110 mile race and was ready to ride that very next day). It's also wonderful in a therapeutic sense for anyone suffering from anxiety/depression. M loved it and I think it was the first time she didn't utter a word within a 45 minute time span! (Floats are typically 60-90 minutes long .... she got antsy at minute 45...I was betting on minute 20 so I was actually happy to made it until minute 45!) If you know nothing about floating, it's absolutely worth looking into. And so amazing we have a place right here in Rapid City! This time the sauce was 1/4 cup almond, cashew or peanut  butter, 1 tbsp tahini, 1/2 cup orange juice, 1/2 cup apple juice, juice of 2 limes or 1 lemon (about 1/4 cup), 2 tbsp coconut aminos/tamari/braggs, 1/4 cup hemp seeds, 1 tbsp dried ginger. Add chili flakes to taste. To reduce fat intake, reduce hemp seeds and nut butter and add mangoes and/or peeled zucchini to get a creamy sauce πŸ˜‹ ALWAYS DELICIOUS!! ❀️

🍎Made a smoothie and cut an apple for my daughter as a snack, but she wasn't that hungry πŸ€”so I made myself a smoothie bowl with her leftovers πŸ˜‹ I never made this before but it was delicious! ❀️RECIPE: smoothie: 1 cup frozen blueberries, 1/2 cup frozen strawberries, 1/2 cup frozen mangoes, add coconut water or apple juice to make it to desired consistency, added about 1/4 tsp dehydrated papaya seeds and 1/2 tsp alfalfa powder. Assembly: chop apple, chop banana, add raisins and dried mulberries. Mix and pour smoothie in the bowl. YUM!!! ❀️

Simply because we can ALL benefit from playing more, having more FUN and enjoying life, I hosted a wholefood-plant-based party last night and we played "Crazy 8's" and Scopa ❀️ We were having so much fun, we even forgot to get the POKER chips out AND I didn't even have a chance to take a picture of my famous pear cake with caramel sauce, it's all GONE!! ❀️ Sushi combos were Mango/Green Onion, Sweet Potato/Avocado, Cucumber/Avocado/Green Onion, Asparagus/Green Onion/Carrots, Cucumber/Red Pepper/Green Onion, Carrots/Cucumber/Green Onion and served with my famous Mango/Ginger Sauce, Miso/Maple Sauce, Garlic/Chili flakes Soy Sauce (I tried Tamari, but I find that Braggs taste so much better, coconut aminos is good but not a crowd pleaser because it's not as salty), plant-based and sugar-free wasabi and homemade sugar-free pickled ginger (next time I will make it with Maple Syrup). Sushis were made with Regular sushi rice and Quinoa, but I also make them with Sprouts, Carrot rice, Parsnip rice and Jicama rice to make raw versions.
