From Marcin about this image:
CATEGORY: Tracked, Composite
STORY: Here is image I took during my quick local trip to the Oksøy lighthouse in southern Norway. Together with two other photographers, we had a plan to take a boat and visit that place during the night. Unfortunately, because the cold weather battery in the boat was totally flat and we were forced to wait half an hour to charge…but, eventually, we made there.
I had in mind plan for a picture taken with 12mm lens, unfortunately all that lights on that buildings were extremely bright and almost impossible to capture in a balanced way. I decided to go farther away from the planned position and use different focal lengths for the sky and foreground. It was my first time with such a composite, but I am quite happy with the result.
EXIF: The sky was captured with help of star tracker (Vixen Polarie) and it is a 180-second single exposure, ISO 1600. Canon 5DmkIV with Venus Optics - Laowa 12mm/f2.8 lens. Light pollution reduced with NiSi Natural Night filter.
The sky was captured from different place (from the other side of the lighthouse) few minutes before the foreground, with the camera pointed in this same direction.
Foreground is a blend of 7 exposures. The brightness of that buildings was just brutal! Canon 5DmkIV and Canon 17-40/4L ~27mm, ISO 1600.

📍San Diego, CA - Sunrise🔥on Monday, Nov 20th 2017
I ended my night with the rising of the sun in Tidelands Park. Usually an all nighter is my primary method of capturing back-to-back magic hours, with no chances of missing out on good light. I've been a junky for the elements lately. I've waited all year for shots like these. Seriously San Diego, I love you and all...but your good ☕️ joints need to open up earlier to fuel me proper for these moments.
A flock of Seagulls, flying through sea mist 🐔🌊
The motion blur of the wings, yet not really the bodies, looks quite funny zoomed in 🤣 I know this photo won’t be everyones cup of tea ☕️ FYI The birds are real 📸👍🏻 I really hate the modern photography fake bird thing 🤷🏼♂️
