The rains are here on Big Island, which means plenty of water for all the thirsty organisms on the land. I'm mostly referring to the trees but when they drink water they don't look as cute as this gecko. #lono#rainydays#gecko#geckosofinstagram
Tem gente por aí, que ainda não veio conhecer a casa, pois acha que é apenas sushi no pote. NÃO! NÃO! NOPS! NANANINANÃO!
Tá certo, a culinária havaiana sofreu enorme influencia oriental, devido a utilização do peixe cru. Mas, quem vem aqui, vê de perto que é algo totalmente diferente. Temos diversas combinações, com frutas, molhos especiais e muita coisa nova que dá todo o toque típico da ilha.
Convida a galera e vem!

A limited caption of the world.
Our personal taste of the phenomenon.
The thoughts that came to life. The novel. Making our own story, with the arguments that we chose.
The story we choose to believe.
The story we choose to live.
The story that we choose to see. It all comes from the mind, inner desires, some conscious, some not.
They reveal to you through the physical world.
We are only mere observers of the phenomenon of life. Nevertheless, We will stick to what we believe. What our person believes. All that a creation of the self to be able to experiment life. We will be drawn to see only what we choose voluntarily or not, to see.
So... perspective... so dense and personal subject. So full of dreams, fears, love...
Listen to the Self, ancestral and nature wisdom. Observe. Be the watcher. There’s no perspectives in Life. There’s only Life.
Let it flow through you with no analyses. Just feeling and you will be nearest as possible of what you came to be in this Universe.
Don’t let your personal perspective trap you in a captive universe.
Pō Lono begins shortly after Mahina Kāne sets. Almost the entire night goes by before the next moon rises at 5:18am. Pō Lono, the 28th night, begins after twilight, but Mahina Lono, the 28th moon rises closer to dawn tomorrow.
The Dictionary, compendium, encyclopedia version of the Akua of Hawai‘i (religious deities) as seen in most books (including Hawaiian Mythology by Beckwith) combines the ‘ike (understandings) of so many different lineages that unless (if you are a researcher) you donʻt read really carefully you may miss the completely different strands of what was actually being done on each island, in different eras and by families with origins from completely different parts of the Pacific (and beyond). If you have well-preserved family/community understandings that can go back to pre-ali‘i events in a clearly discernible way then you may already be familiar with the overall concept that what is common language around traditions is typically the early explorer/post-missionary view.
Pō Lono, refers to Lono as an Akua (essential force of life that many would associate with rain, sound, wind, certain forms of fertility). To some Lono as an Akua was the sole focus, to others Lono was rarely if ever the focus. To some, Lono is an aspect of Kāne. To others Lono needed to bring balance to the politically intensive Kū practices. However, the major theme is that Lono is sacred and almost always connected with goodness.

...and suddenly, with a pleasant surprise, Lono’s smell came across her senses with musty desire, she closed her eyes and listened for his giant stride to cross her. Papa tingled with delight and she felt his vibrations upon her. She shifted and opened herself allowing his wetness to penetrate deep into her soils. With delight she gave off an irresistible scent of love. They greeted each other with respect, cooling her body with gentle flow while pulsating deep into her form. They continue to play....I can still smell them, I can still hear their love making, and all this brings life, brings cleansing! E OLA!!! #eola#ramblingsofakakawahie#lono#papahanaumoku#LIFE#LOVE#LIVE
