7 years ago it was 2010 I was 18/19 years old on my gap year - no travels just work, dance, teaching and nights out. The time when my unhealthy relationship with food, exercise and my body came into full force and would continue for the next 2-3 years (even though I thought I was getting better)

"I just don't have time to stretch" something we hear everyday! •
So here are some easy stretches you can do from home that will be really beneficial for your training but also for feeling better on a day to day basis

So a few days ago I gave @paulyospencer a bit of a fright when he had to take me to A&E. It was totally out of the blue and I ended up spending 3 days on the Gynecologist ward. In most cases when we're poorly there are warning signs, little things that just don't feel right and usually our gut instinct will tell us best.
Looking back I am starting to piece together things that I have previously just pushed aside. Excessive bloating potentially because I thought I'd eaten the wrong foods, stomach pains that I thought were just 'the time of the month'. In reality this could have been the case, but also long term (and I'm talking over the past few years here) something just doesn't add up.
I think we're all too quick to take things for granted and to brush things aside when we're all so busy. In future I certainly will be taking more notice of things out of the norm, it's so important to be aware. Ladies especially when it comes to your reproductive organs. Please be alert. This time I've been lucky 😘

Here 👆are a couple of great stretches to do after your buggy runs to help prevent injury. There is some additional information about the stretches below to help give you a better understanding. 🤸♀️🧘♀️🤸♂️
Posture:Utthita Parsvakonasana or Extended side angle pose
Actions: lateral stretch through key muscle groups that prone to get short and tight from buggy running - triceps, serratus anterior, internal obliques and glut medius. Also provides a challenge to the core to maintain a neutral spine and not laterally flex. This can also happen when there is a lack of hip flexion in the front leg
Posture:Natarajasana or Dancers Pose or standing bow pose
Actions: opens the chest and collar bones and creates spinal extension - something we all lack but especially Mums. Counteracts pushing the buggy. Creates stretch in both standing and life leg through key muscle group of hip flexors, quads and hamstring all which get used intensively when running
