"I had struggled with my weight my whole life. Yo-yo dieting and never seeing results. I felt trapped in my body. I wasn't living live. I was miserable, and I took it out on everyone around me. I was angry and bitter because of how miserable and unhappy I was. I woke up on March 1st and walked past my mirror. I had gotten in the habit of avoiding looking at mirrors because I was disgusted with myself. That morning I actually looked, hard and long. And decided I was going tomake a change. Now 7 months into my journey and I have lost 108 lbs. I went from 309 to 201. A 4x to a size L. I lost all that weight but I gained back My life. My motivation was and is my 2 boys, I want to be a mom who can run around and play with them. Not sit on the sidelines eating. I hope my account can inspire others that it's never too late to make a change. Body positive to me means being comfortable in your own skin. For a long time I was struggling with this. But I finally have the confidence and self esteem I've always wished for. STARTING TIP: don't worry about overhauling your whole life over night. Start with small changes. Set goals for yourself. And do your research. What "fad diets" and foods worked for someone else may not work for you. Find out what you want to do with your nutrition, what works best with your body and activity level and Then crush it! And you don't NEED some fancy expensive gym membership (unless you want one). I do a lot of at home workouts on YouTube and I have an elliptical at home. I have literally not stepped into a gym. If I can do it... YOU CAN DO IT!"

I made my post workout protein shake a little thicker than usual today, it came out more like an icecream, but that was perfect for this hot, humid day.
1 scoop chocolate protein powder (I used @optimumnutrition.au from @suppmartclarkson)
1 tbsp cacao (because I need my protein more chocolatey & ya know, cacao ia full of antioxidants so is totally good for you 😉)
1 small hand full of frozen cranberries
Approx half a frozen banana
1 tbsp Great Lakes Unflavoured Gelatin (Collagen Joint Care)
125ml hilo milk
1 large handful of ice
Whizz together in a blender & smash that baby down. Gains abound 💪
