Few photos from Miss. Mary. I'm mid-sentence in one and the one where I'm cutting cake looks like I have a tan, but it's the shadow from my head. Regardless, they are precious to me. 😚 #lovemyfriends#mt7117#wedding
Je ne suis pas la plus jolie, la plus simpa, la plus drôle, la plus épanouie, la plus heureuse, la plus bosseuse mais je suis prête a tout pour le bonheur des gens qui me sont chers. #lovemyfriends#lovemyboyfriend#lovemyfamily
#TBT You can only win with friends who empower you. The hardest part is allowing them to empower, allowing them to uplift. We are our biggest enemies sometimes and don't see ourselves in the beautiful light our friends do. Open your ears and your heart to the messages they churn out...both big or small! Thankful for these two ladies and the inspiration they bring me on the daily...#TLH#lovemyfriends#empower#lovehard#livestrong
After a period of struggle, pain, or grief, I often hear women say, “at least I know who my true friends are.” There is a layer of shame and comparison laced between those words that leave us wondering if we made the cut, if we are that friend, and then we strive a little more to be the girl that everyone could say is a true friend. I love dresses and my closet would reveal this with a simple glance. I think my friends are like my dresses. Some dresses are only suited for a certain type of occasion but for that, they are perfect. Other dresses fit several kinds of occasions and though they aren’t appropriate for everything I wear them across multiple events seamlessly. Admittedly, some should probably be weeded out because they don’t make sense anymore but that doesn’t mean that for something, once, they were perfect. Finally, I have the little black dresses that really round out my collection. They were here first and will stay longer, they are elegant, fun, and can be counted on to be just what I need. Friends, can we stop with the true friend line in the sand and just be sure that we have a good collection? While I hope that I’m a little black dress for a few people, I’m happy to be the red dress in some closets too. It’s been a little black dress season for me and I’m so thankful that I have a few beautiful ones in my closet who have carried me these past months. I won’t draw a line in the sand counting black dresses verses the others but to my LBDs, thank you. While I love all my dresses, you’ve continued to be the piece that I just can’t be without.
