We have so many awesome food demos lined up for this year's #Whakatāne Local Wild Food Challenge held at Mahy Reserve in Ōhope, Saturday, 3 Feb. Come and learn about natures larder on our beautiful New Zealand coast line. 🍃 Go to the link in our profile for the schedule
Two years ago, Steve and I did a one-month dream road trip around New Zealand. We tried three different campervans during our time there and I've finally gotten round to publishing a review of all three, plus tips on how to choose one. Hope you find it useful :)⠀ And thank you all so much for all the positivity on the post yesterday! It meant a lot 😊
Once again a picture from my ‘Herbarium’ series. 🌿
Location: Routeburn Track, South Island, New Zealand. Species: Phormium Cookianum.
Commonly called « Mountain Flax », this endemic species is native to New Zealand and is usually but not exclusively found on cliff faces.
I was lucky on this day as I found quite a few plants on the Routeburn Track that were enlightened exactly by the kind of light I was chasing. No artificial light or much editing for these plants. Finding them under the right light is the main part of the job.
I’m getting a story ready for you to have an overview of #theherbarium_series ❤
