[13/100] were on day 13 of 100! Today will be my meal prep and relax day. Food is in the oven and crockpot just waiting to be sorted out. In the meantime relaxing with some pumpkin spice coffee with whipped cream 😍
Another good run today! I find that I run much faster and more consistently when I am in a race. I want to run that same way when I do my daily run. I also find that setting goals helps to drive me and keep me going. What works to keep you going?
I didn't get any sleep last night. Like zero. After a weird encounter at the park I couldn't sleep and woke up in a panic all night. Then Trace (my son) woke me up at like 6 this morning 😩😩😩 give me ALL the coffee ☕️

10/21: Something very interesting happened yesterday. I worked out on my rebounder 🤸🏻♀️for 30 min in the morning. I had my first meal of the day at 12 noon to break my 16 hour fast. It was a salad 🥗of arugula, tomatoes, mozarella, grilled chicken and avocado. While I was eating it, I immediately felt cramping in my lower abdominal region. I felt light headed and there was a pain from my lower back down through my legs. At first I thought food poisoning and cancelled my afternoon appointments. I went to the restroom but I didn't throw up or anything else. After about 15 minutes , sitting in my car, the pains subsided and my head felt a bit better. Was this a food reaction to the carbs and fiber in the greens and tomatoes? How could vegetables make me sick? An hour later, I felt wat better except for a little soreness in my stomach, a dull headache and a real need to go number 2, but couldn't. Yesterday, to date was my toughest day on this diet because of my food reaction. I can't believe that eating fiber filled greens could make me react so badly. I ended up keeping my appointment in Venice but on the way home on the 405 I felt sick again. No pains but light headed and achy. Dinner was a glass of Natural Calm Magnesium. I am doubting my ability to cure myself, lose weight, and ever feel better again. It seems like everything I try backfires on me. But that I know is negative self-talk and I've got to stop that. Wellness is such a struggle though on all levels for me at this stage of life. But I won't give in. Nope. Nope. 👎🏽 Nope. The new macros/ratios for a lc/hp/mf are: Carbs (6%) 15g (5 g less a day) ; Protein (36%) : 92g ( 11 g more a day); Fat (58%): 67g ( 28g less a day). Yesterday's numbers came in at: Carbs: 13g (6%); Fat (53%) 48g and Protein (41%): 80g. Sugar: 4g and Fiber: 6g.

If you're looking for a pancake fix, look absolutely no further. These are, hands down, the best I've ever had. Easy to make. You'll probably have most ingredients. Topped with butter and your choice of syrup, or just more butter. These are a MUST MAKE. The extras have been frozen for future breakfasts. I used 1/4 cup for measuring these out.
I met a friend lastnight who I have not seen in a while and she was shocked how much weight I have lost. She asked when I will "finish dieting". I kindly informed her that this is not a diet for me but a lifestyle. She asked if Keto is sustainable long term and asked what kept me on track for 7 months (knowing I only stick to a diet plan for only 3 months at most). Being in this lifestyle for 7 months, I can honestly say that Meal planning is the most important aspect of sticking to this plan. I'm the type of person that when I don't have anything prep in the house my will power waivers and I will just eat whatever is convenient. I know it takes time to meal prep for the week but just like other people who takes the time to go to the gym, meal prepping and meal planning is my sacrifice. This is my gym time. Not only will I stick to Keto, I don't have to stress to figure out what to eat for dinner and what to bring for lunch. Lastly, meal planning/prepping saves me so much money. So, with the pros out weight the cons.. how can you not meal prep/plan for the week no matter what diet or lifestyle you are on. Happy Saturday everyone!
