When tofu is baked in the oven it turns out crispy and chewy, which I like soo much better than pan fried. The simple sauce/dressing is made with lime, soy and brown sugar. It has a nice sweet, sour and salty combo. ♥️🥗

Maar ik vond dat er in mijn “Familie Favorieten” recepten e-book wel een quiche thuishoorde, dus ik ging aan de slag met een lichtere variant. Monash University recently updated that Horseradish paste was tested and found to be Low FODMAP. 
According to their official app, the zingy paste is lo-fo in one serving size, which is 2 tablespoons. 
Horseradish paste can be used in many ways to spice up your dishes. 
For example, it can be added to salad dressings, sandwiches or to complement fish, meat or poultry.

I used 1 🐔 carcass from last night’s dinner + 3 🥕+ 2 celery stalks + all the herbs I had in my fridge (parsley stems, thyme and rosemary) 🌱 Cover it all with water and cook on slow for 12-24 hours ⏱Who else makes their own stock? 🙋🏼‍♀️

Some of my friends joke that I'm a horrible texter, and it's true 🤷🏻‍♀️. I hate being on my phone all the time, contrary to what you might think from instagram. If someone gives you a hard time for not getting back to them immediately, or wanting to unplug for a few days, that's something that's going on with them, not you! We aren't meant to be constantly connected without time to recharge. And when we do connect, it means so much more to do so in person or over the phone, instead of just via text, email, social media.

Trust me, I text a lot, email, obviously get on social media, but it's all about being aware and asking the "why".

How often do you mindlessly scroll? What in your life are you avoiding? Why is it hard for you to be alone in the silence? Are you unhappy with who you are or having trouble loving yourself? Why are you ignoring that call? Does that person no longer serve where you are in your life?  What would you be doing right now if you weren't on your phone?

These are all questions I ask myself to check in. Happy Sunday, sweet friends ❤️

60 grams of pumpkin 
1 whole egg
100 grams of eggs white
20 grams of coconut flour 
I spiced it all with turmeric, ground black pepper, Himalayan pink salt and rosemary. 
Rosemary helps digestion with its powerful essential oil and I’m obsessed with its  perfume! Sooo good!

60 grams of pumpkin 1 whole egg 100 grams of eggs white 20 grams of coconut flour I spiced it all with turmeric, ground black pepper, Himalayan pink salt and rosemary. I have brown rice noodles coated in basil & rocket macadamia nut pesto, ( blend together 1/4 cup macadamia nuts, 1/2 bunch fresh basil, 1 cup fresh rocket & 1/4 cup light olive oil- salt & pepper to taste, add about 1 tablespoon of capers if you wish), roasted pumpkin, fresh rocket & a hard boiled egg. Drizzle over a basic dressing of light olive oil with apple cider vinegar and that’s it!! 👍🏻😋

Chicken cooked with coconut oil, turmeric, black pepper, cayenne pepper, pink salt of Himalaya and lemon. If you like add even cinnamon. Accompanied by basmati rice that I boiled in salted water and cardamom. A real lust! .

Fried rice with egg. I have started to omit night shades and see if it’ll improve my digestion. I was trying to be creative with what I have and mixed leftover rice with chopped lettuce, anchovies, diced red pepper and carrots and mix in soy sauce. It came out pretty great especially with the egg. Now that the school is done I will have more time to cook and take care of myself 😃

Maar ik vond dat er in mijn “Familie Favorieten” recepten e-book wel een quiche thuishoorde, dus ik ging aan de slag met een lichtere variant. Een quiche met een boekweit bodem, een vulling van ei, rijstroom en spinazie met tomaat en geitenkaas. Super lekker én niet zo heftig en vet! // QUICHE • I have never really liked quiche.
