Completed not one but two workouts tonight, cardio and legs. Missed Monday 🙄 My life is too busy and stair master for 35 minutes is challenging 😅 I also ate a total vegetarian meal for supper today and wore shorts... WHO AM I?! I normally never wear shorts for working out I just find them uncomfortable and they move around too much... tights all the way! I also normally don’t wear long sleeves unless I’m running outside when it’s colder so today has been a bit different for me 🙈 What’s your favourite workout outfit?! And shoes! I’ve been wanting to update my shoes as I don’t find my under armour shoes have the support I need... I’ve been looks at Nike Metcom 4 and the Nike Free TR 4. My top 5 tips to staying happy & fit
(trust me when I tell you I took the journey!)
1🖤Eat food that you like. I enjoy food. It’s one of my favorite parts of the day. Sounds simple-but don’t think you’ve got to overhaul every single habit and food you eat when you’re trying to pursue better eating habits. Keep the FLAVOR in your food/life & SEASON your damn veggies! Healthy doesn’t mean bland! Eat real food. We’re designed to digest. Your food should contain active enzymes and nutrients. (But If you eat Whattaburger once a month, you won’t die. I’ve tested that theory many times for you all. YW.)
2🖤Go outside. I like to stay inside, tbh. My home is my sanctuary and happy place. I love to workout indoors. But going outside and getting SUN for a few minutes invigorates me. It is necessary as a human to get fresh air and keep your mental state sharp and optimistic.
3🖤 Just move your body. Find something you truly enjoy. And don’t lie to yourself. It’s okay if you don’t like Pure Barre (or whatever it is.) Life’s too short to spend your energy on activities that don’t fulfill you. Now don’t be getting lazy and just write off all workouts-we’re human. We’re designed to move. I promise if you seek it, you’ll find it.
4🖤Mistakes & progress can coexist‼️If you are in pursuit to change your body and health in any type of way, acknowledge and accept that perfection is not required to obtain your goals. This was HUGE for me to realize. I could have a one too many cookies or indulge in the glory that is whattaburger one night, but still go to the gym the next morning & make better choices the next day. 💡 So often after we make a less than ideal choice, we think, “I’VE MADE MY BED!” And we think we’ve just “ruined” our hard work. Nah girl. (Or dude) Not true. Trust me on this. Just keep going. You good.
5🖤People. Seek advice & support from those whom you admire. Ask them questions and don’t be scared to approach them for help! (I used to be HELLA shy.) Your tribe’s encouragement, like mindedness, & inspiration can help you push to be stronger than what you deemed yourself to be.
Keenan’s last ‘scheduled’ classes are coming fast. After 11 years of service to our community, which we will be forever grateful for it’s time to say goodbye (for now) 😥

In the blink of an eye, two years have passed 😢. It felt like yesterday you proposed to me and I said Yes.
We had a wonderful two years and we achieved many accomplishments together 🙌🏼. My highlight of the week was coming to the showroom to try out your new technologies.
My highlight of the year would have been leading your yoga events for our growing yoga + fitness community.
Although we said our goodbyes 😪 yesterday, I know this is not the end for us. I will keep wearing you, parading you, selling how amazing you are to my friends and students like I have been doing for the past 10 years since I first knew and wore you.
