What an amazing #adventure ahead!!! No it’s not #spearfishing Today begins a dream come true. My wife @niccole12 and I also @dmramsey (if you want to follow personal IGPage are very excited to pack up and head out for an unbelievable weekend. (Not to mention her birthday is Monday) After the last few years we have had, with her literally nursing me back to health following #CervicalFusion, #Lumbar, And Both #Shoulders being Rebuilt! The stress of a #Military Medical 
Board we now have 19.5yrs Time in service (which we were cleared to continue service, prayers answered) then Military Transfer to Sabine Pass Texas (Not a bad thing we love it), Then the insanity of #HurricaneHarvey.  And some other personal medical stuff (which I was able to nurse Niccole back from)  it’s been a tough road the last couple years! But for some reason (god has a plan), we were selected for the @oathinc Texas #Whitetail #Hunt in Rising Star, TX to join OATH (which I’m registered with) and Gary J Bartels Jrr who I have continued to bomb with my highs and lows in life 😉 it’s amazing knowing there is #Organizations out there that are and can help!!! It’s truly a blessing to know this!!! Niccole and I are humbled to have been selected! Thankful my #MilitaryLeave was approved so my wife and I can embark on this amazing journey 400miles West... This is the break we needed. This weekend will be forever remembered. I’m so thankful for #OATH !!! As OATH say’s;

Día 3: DOLOR DE ESPALDA/ BACK PAIN 😖🔙💊 El dolor de espalda (ya sea en cualquiera de sus regiones: CERVICAL,DORSAL o LUMBAR) es uno de los problemas físicos más comunes🔝entre la población 🌍 
Es la segunda causa de consulta médica 👨🏻‍⚕️después de la gripe 🤒 y el resfriado 🤧.
En mi caso, sufro de dolores en la zona #lumbar de manera recurrente 🔁😌,cada cierto tiempo tengo sobrecargas que me ocasionan bastante #molestia y #dolor 😢.
Por eso, hoy aprovecho para enseñaros una serie de ejercicios 🧘🏼‍♀️que podéis realizar cuando estos dolores aparezcan o mejor aún para PREVENIRLOS. +Consejo del día🧠: EJERCICIOS PARA EL DOLOR LUMBAR O SU PREVENCIÓN:(con imágenes)
1.El puente: flexionamos piernas y apretamos nalgas (20 repeticiones)
2.Estiramiento rodillas al pecho: llevar rodillas al pecho y apretar fuertemente contra él 20 segundos,luego lo hacemos igual pero individualmente.
3.Estiramiento del piramidal:misma posición que 2 a una pierna,rotamos rodilla y la llevamos hacia el hombro contrario 20 segundos por pierna.
4.Estiramiento en rotación: misma posición que 3 y giramos el cuerpo hasta que la rodilla toque el suelo,abriendo el brazo contrario hacia el exterior 20 segundos y cambiamos de lado.
5.Side kick: flexión de la pierna inferior y extensión de la superior.Movemos pierna de atrás hacia adelante y volvemos, punta del pie mira hacia nosotros 20 repeticiones y cambiamos.
6.Elevación lateral de pierna: misma posición que 5 pero elevamos pierna de manera vertical 20 veces,cambiamos de lado.
7.Gato/Caballo:en cuadrupédia, realizamos movimientos pélvicos enroscando y desenroscando la pelvis,arqueando y hundiendo nuestra columna,20 repeticiones.

Enttenamiento dedicado a diversas partes del cuerpo, dónde he identificado con ayuda de un professional de la fisioterapia, pequeñas descompensaciones. 
Debo mejorar la postura, mejorar la mobilidad articular y reforzar zonas, para más adelante tener una mejor técnica, mayor fuerza y compensación muscular. De esta manera disminuiré el riesgo de lesiones, ya que si no tienes una buena base, difícilmente puedas mejorar otras qualidades físicas y técnicas.
En esta fotografía podemos ver un buen ejercicio sobre la zona estabilizadora de la columna lumbar. Consiste en subir las rodillas hasta tener una no total extensión de las piernas, con el objetivo de mantener lo máximo possible la posición neutra de la columna, centrando total atención a la area dónde queremos trabajar. I prefer to think of this option as patient education. My job as a physician is to make sure that the patient has had a complete workup including an appropriate history, exam, imaging, electrodiagnostic evaluation, labs, etc. Once this is complete and we have identified the primary pain generator, it is my job to properly educate the patient about the diagnosis and about the risks and benefits of treatment and non treatment. I integrate my education, experience, and the latest medical literature to help the patient make the decision that is best for themselves.

Does this back brace make me look sexy? 🤷🏼‍♀️😂 I’m so used to wearing it now I can nap in it. 💤 Today I did about 6500 steps which is the most I’ve done since 8/27 It’s a slow process but it’s PROGRESS and I’m PROUD! At first I thought the best part of my surgery was being out of extreme pain and feeling my legs but this down time has really shown me a different view. I’m grateful for all of the personal growth, the inner strength, and the expansion of my mind. I believe everything happens for a reason and although the immediate reason was a number of health issues, the ultimate result thus far has been immeasurable in comparison. I wasn’t happy about the incision in my abdomen, now I’m proud because it’s a reflection of who I continue to become. What an amazing #adventure ahead!!! Today begins a dream come true. My wife @niccole12 and I are very excited to pack up and head out for an unbelievable weekend. (Not to mention her birthday is Monday) After the last few years we have had, with her literally nursing me back to health following #CervicalFusion, #Lumbar, And Both #Shoulders being Rebuilt! The stress of a #Military Medical 
Board we now have 19.5yrs Time in service (which we were cleared to continue service, prayers answered) then Military Transfer to Sabine Pass Texas (Not a bad thing we love it), Then the insanity of #HurricaneHarvey.  And some other personal medical stuff (which I was able to nurse Niccole back from)  it’s been a tough road the last couple years! But for some reason (god has a plan), we were selected for the @oathinc Texas #Whitetail #Hunt in Rising Star, TX to join OATH (which I’m registered with) and Gary J Bartels Jrr who I have continued to bomb with my highs and lows in life 😉 it’s amazing knowing there is Organizations out there that are and can help!!! It’s truly a blessing to know this!!! Niccole and I are humbled to have been selected! Thankful my Military Leave was approved so my wife and I can embark on this amazing journey 400miles West... This is the break we needed. This weekend will be forever remembered. I’m so thankful for #OATH !!! As OATH say’s;

One of the most common postural deviations you will encounter is excessive anterior pelvic tilt (APT). Some visual cues of APT are:

A forward tipped pelvis
Increased lower back curve (sway back)
A “bulging” (not necessarily fat) abdomen
This pattern is characterized by overextension of the lumbar spine, lack of glute involvement, and quad and low-back dominance. These visual cues, in combination with a screening that reveals stiff hip flexors, poor glute and abdominal strength, and compensation patterns are good indicators of anterior pelvic tilt.

A certain degree of anterior pelvic tilt is normal and usually unproblematic. Lisa has extensive physiotherapy experience working for clients with general musculoskeletal problems within the general populations and sporting sector. Lisa has managed her own physiotherapy practice for 8 years in Mosman and has worked as a Sports Physiotherapist within a variety of sports including Norths Rugby, Australian Women’s Rugby League, Australia Sapphires and Opals Women’s basketball teams and Souths Juniors Rugby League.
Lisa has experience in post-operative orthopaedic conditions including hip replacements, knee replacements and shoulder, lumbar and cervical surgical patients.
