“hey karen, why do you post your ig story??? 🤚🏽🙄i already skipped through it all”. well i want to explain myself ok!! 💁🏻 so remember last night i say ‘ok time to ball!’ 🏀 well i inverted my foot/rolled my ankle! its a baby twist. BUT ITS MY FIRST INJURY since like high school. and injuries is like being grounded and i hate it 😭😭 so depressing. so i was like hell no I HAVE TO SQUAT. 🍑but then i decided to be smart half way through my lift and switched to bodyweight stuff so heres that. 🤓i had just as great of a leg workout as any other day, and achieved it through incorporating bodyweight work 🤗🤗 (i shouldve filmed more of my workout to show various exercises but i forgot - sorry) so heres a fraction of what i did, and you can watch @stevenbooke ‘s inappropriate commentary 🐒, as well as my dancing socks🐥🐶. ❤️❤️❤️ love u all and don’t get injured!
MOBILITY AND FLEXIBILITY
Having good Mobility and Flexibility are essential if wanting to perform at your highest level.
Good mobility means you'll be able to move freely whilst performing exercises. Poor mobility will potentially limit your flexibility which will restrict your range of motion (ROM) in a movement and could lead to an injury !
One of my favorites supersets to do for arms. Seated overhead dumbbell tricep extension and seated hammer curls. Trying to hit 8 to 15 reps with moderately heavy weight. Gotta train the arms to be able to lift that turkey next week 🦃 #flexfriday
4 days off work means more time for gains! Sumo finally feeling good and moving better than expected with the heavier weights, keen to see what will happen over the next month or two once the intensity ramps up!
