Smoothie bowls for dinner? We're in! After an eight day vacation, it's time to get back on track. We are enjoying a nutrient dense meal that will brighten our mood on this gloomy MN day (meanwhile, it's 90 degrees in FL ☀️). Maybe this tropical bowl will transport us back to the tropical weather 😉

Had a AWESOME time at The John P. McGovern of health and medical science especially at the Body World's portion part of the museum! Learned and saw some cool stuff about the human body. The human body continues to fascinate me in ways that bring me back to a kid and wonder what and why are body's do what they do!...
I know this for sure experiencing my first Body World exhibit, we are what we eat, drink and do, we only have one body, so take care of it because we only have one and in return your body will take care of you!... 🤔💪🏻🙌🏻👍🏻🙏🏻✅ Oh yea, and if you go on a Thursday it's free 2-7!

Lesson learned today: MAKE SURE YOU EAT ENOUGH BEFORE THE GYM! Today's workout started great; hit 225 for a 5x4 (was a 6x3 last week), but once I moved to deadlifts, it became one of the hardest workouts I've ever had😠 As many times as I thought "screw it, I can't finish this, just go home" I KEPT PUSHING! Wound up completing the whole workout, as awful as I felt, and that feels great😎 Got some food in me and VOILA! I'm a new person😁

A year of hard work and focusing on doing the fitness life RIGHT💯 There's a lot of work still to be done, but it's always a good idea to take a step back and appreciate how far you've come on any journey👣 Make the decision to do what you love, make the sacrifices needed, and GRIND!👊

Just a few things I always like to have on hand with me at home, fruit of any kind that's seasonal-blueberries, strawberries, bananas, raspberries, & eggwhites-protein shakes, smoothies, eggs for breakfast, clean fried rice, or plain egg whites before bed to be light on the stomach!
Simplicity is always easy but not always boring-I love being in the kitchen and being creative yet healthy all in one!
Carbs & protein Macros have recently been upped and I'm sitting at 2100 calories a day which I LOVE. Energy is higher, mind seems to be a little more focused, and my body has more to go off of with an bigger energy supply ☺️🔋👌🏼

💚🌶 one of the little gems I found at this last farmers market is @omaandpopies. I've been dying to try it out. But the weathers not been on my side. So ... for the first time EVER!! 😱😱😱 I changed my avocado broccoli recipe from Britain, 🥑and added some "wingin it" sauce. 💚💚💚 sweet and spicy and I still taste the balsamic from the original recipe. ( if you want to know where the original recipe came from or how to make it I posted it a few days ago look for the bright green avocados) 🥑🥑🥑
