Well, we're still here! Galway didn't blow away after all 😊😊 Hope all's well in your neck of the woods and that not too much damage has been done. There's been some dramatic footage shown on social media throughout the day - but here in Oranmore the most I've seen or heard is that the coast road was flooded. We certainly seem to have gotten off very lightly! So hopefully it's back to normal tomorrow - have an appointment or two to meet in town in the morning, the post office run has to be done, then it'd more form-filling and whatever else I have time for... As always, check out my Facebook page for all the details on this gorgeous pair of earrings (link is in my bio)
Hey there my lovelies - hope your Saturday has been kind to you all 😊😊 I spent some time in town today, as planned, sourcing a couple of things I need to make more progress on phase one of my new displays, but apart from that, I had a 'meh' reaction to the thought of browsing the shops, so we ended up coming home early, got the grocery shopping done and went for a walk with the dog instead! Been catching up with lots of property programmes on the telly this evening - something we really enjoy (you can't beat a good nosy around some one else's house, can you? 😉)
Well, evening all - Friday again - another week whizzing by almost faster than I can believe! I hope it's been a good week for you all, regardless 😊😊 I took a break from the routine yesterday to attend the National Women's Enterprise Day event at @thelodgeashford with the @galwaylocalenterprise, LEO Roscommon and LEO Mayo. A brilliant venue, an inspirational group of speakers, and a fabulous group of ladies to meet and chat with. Looking forward to next year's one already!
Evening all - how's your day been treating you? Hope it was a good one for you all. My day was spent ordering supplies (again... I know!!), dealing with emails, tidying up my stock and washing my tablecloths after yesterday. I was delighted to be included with lots of other lovely local businesses to showcase enterprise in Oranmore with Bridge That Gap for the Bank of Ireland Enterprising Town competition presentation. It was a brilliant morning (well done & best of luck to all involved!!) and a fascinating insight into what's going on in our lovely village these days.
So here's another gorgeous pair of earrings - all the details are available over on my Facebook page (link is in my bio).
Tuesday evening treat - homemade apple turnovers with custard, courtesy of the big sister who's down in Galway for the night - yum!! Hope you've had a good day - I'm pretty whacked this evening after a hectic schedule, so only popping in briefly to say hi, so I'll check in with you all again tomorrow.
Evening all - how's your day been? Hope your Sunday was a good one. Thankfully I was feeling better, so a marathon tidy-up of the workroom was the order of the day. Took quite a few hours, I can tell you - I hardly recognise the space now! It was totally worth it though, as now I can pop in and out all week and get any work started without wading through acres of mess beforehand. Painting was also started by Michelle on the new table display (which I'm really excited about - all will be revealed in good time 😉) - so we're feeling well accomplished this evening.
So it's all about the bangles at the moment - check out my Facebook page for all the details on this cute example.
Hey my lovelies - hope your weekend is going well. I managed to get a fair chunk of research completed today, but still not enough energy in the tank to get any physical work done... the work room honestly looks like it's been broken into and trashed, with random clumps of beads all over the work tables, boxes all over the floor and shelves... there isn't a bare patch left to put anything down, lol... really hope I have the energy to tackle it tomorrow 😊
So check out my Facebook page for all the details on this beautiful pair of earrings.
Happy Friday all. Hope you all had a lovely day and are looking forward to the weekend. I'm still a bit under the weather, but got through what work I could, so things could definitely be worse. Will try to get on top of the rest of things over the weekend (good job I had no plans made, lol...) I have a few pairs of these gorgeous sterling silver studs available at the moment - as always, you'll find the details on my Facebook page.
Evening all - hope this finds you all in good form this Thursday? I didn't have too productive a day at all. I've had a cold the last couple of days, and it just seemed to catch up with me today... So, sofa, permanent cup of tea and a truck load of tissues were the order of the day. Hoping for better things tomorrow 😉
So this cute adjustable charm bangle is currently available - Facebook has all the details (link is in my bio).
Hi there my lovelies - how are you doing this evening? A pretty blustery & wet Wednesday, wasn't it? Definitely a day for staying indoors! I did have to get out to do the Post Office run this morning, but apart from that, I was in admin & research mode for the day. Plenty of wee jobs that needed doing - invoices to be sent, bookings to be made, emails to be sent, along with plenty of phone calls (...the phone calls are like buses, aren't they? I can go for 2 -3 days at a time with none incoming or outgoing, then other days there's nearly smoke coming out of the thing, it's so busy, lol...) So as usual, check out my Facebook page for all the details on this beautiful pair of earrings. Link is in my bio 😊
Evening all - hope you've had a great start to the week today. All grand here - got lots of jobs finished, mostly admin, but they can't all be creative days! Feeling very satisfied with myself tonight as a result, and ready to face another day tomorrow.
So, as promised, here's just a few shots of the workshop held in Toodlelou Creatively Lab last Thursday night. Such a fabulous night with an enthusiastic, creative bunch of ladies - we had such craic! Can't wait to do another one.
Evening my lovelies - so there's the last weekend in September and the first day of October almost done & dusted - can you believe it? I know I can't! A month feels just like a week to me these days, so I can only imagine what the next few weeks are gonna be like as we gear up to the busiest time of year for jewellery makers and other designer-makers. If you are looking to get something bespoke made in time for 'C' day, now's the time to get in touch 😉 Email email@example.com, tel 086 8383958, or send me a dm here.
So here's the earrings that match the driftwood necklace & bracelets that I've shared with you all over the last few days - check out my Facebook page for all the details, thank you.
Ooh, happy Friday! Hope we're all in good form this blustery, wet evening? We had thunder & lightening here briefly this afternoon. People must think we're nuts when we get any - both of us are usually to be found hanging out of an open window, scanning the skies, looking for the next flash, straining our ears for the next rumble... it never lasts long enough, lol... Anyways, we had a brilliant night at the jewellery making workshop we hosted for the lovely girls at Toodlelou Creativity Lab last night - I'll share some pics when I get the energy to find the camera that's currently buried in a box in my workroom, lol... So here's the second bracelet made to go with the driftwood necklace I shared during the week. All the details are over on my Facebook page - link is in my bio.
Wednesday - done & dusted! How was it for you? Despite the terrible weather, we did venture up to Westport this morning. Needless to say, we didn't spend quite as much time as originally planned, but it was good to have a wander, dip in & out of the shops, then dive back in to the warm, dry car and head back to Ballina for some toasted sandwiches (sure what else would you be having for lunch on a cold, wet day?) Head back to Galway this evening, and thankfully the rain moved on before we were half way there, so it wasn't all bad.
So this is just one of the bracelets made to match the driftwood necklace I shared last night - as always, all the details are over on my Facebook page.
Evening all - well, we're back at home in Mayo tonight, for a brief stopover, before continuing the last part of our wee tour tomorrow. We're heading to another of my favourite spots - Westport (yay!!), before heading back to Galway. Been a hectic few days, but we've really enjoyed it - I could easily spend all my time playing tourist in my own country, could you?
So this stunning necklace, inspired by driftwood, is currently available. Matching bracelets and earrings are also available. All the details are over on my Facebook page (you'll find the link in my bio).
Hey there my lovelies! How are we all doing this fine Sunday night? Hope you've had a great weekend and are ready & rarin' to go for the week ahead. We'll be heading off early in the morning, hoping to get to the Giant's Causeway good & early. Keeping our fingers crossed for good weather when we get there, as the one & only time I tried to visit the causeway before (when I was in college), it was completely crap weather & not really safe to get out there, so I'm really hoping for a different experience this time round! If I'm feeling brave, we might even attempt the rope bridge at Carrick-a-rede - any one ever done it? Let me know what to expect 😊 After lunch we'll be heading to Derry, where we're staying overnight, so should be a very enjoyable day.
So check out my Facebook page for all the details on this quirky bangle.
