Love this outfit with non-maternity shorts on @whitneynrife, made possible with a #Maeband ! 💕
Day 3 of the messy bun 😼 and I don't even feel bad about it, hehe! I've been getting some snaps and comments about it, I literally do it NOT looking in a mirror, most of the time on the way to fix Dolly "breakfast" hehe! The more you try to "fix" it the worse it looks (not that it looks the best today) but hey, it's ALMOST Friday! I also wanted to let you know about @maeband 💕🙌🏻 with my growing belly, I have still been able to wear my shorts/jeans thanks to them!!! If you are pregnant, grab you a couple of bands and you won't need to worry about buying maternity jeans! 😁 #ishopTRT#ootd#wiw#mom#momlife#wiwt#outfitoftheday#outfit#fashion#pregnant
Our hearts and prayers go out to this family. Janelle and Jimmy lost their whole world, all five of their girls, in a matter of minutes. They moved to Alaska to live in a safer place to raise their girls. He had left early that morning to work at his new job, she was running her mom home in her car she was borrowing, as they only had one vehicle. She woke the girls up to get ready for school before she left and a few minutes later she arrived at the same time as firefighters to see flames consuming their home. No one can take away their pain, but maybe we can all help to ease some of the burden.

I shared #mitchellsjourney with a leadership group today in Nashville. It was a powerful hour and a half that pointed to the treasure of family and living a life of significance. While waiting at the airport, this balloon found its way down the large corridor and drifted by me. It's words spoke the feelings of my heart. In my mind and heart I said, "I miss you too, son." Though I long to see my little boy, I am at peace today. It's a strange thing to hurt and heal at the same time. Such is the journey of grief ... love and loss, peace and pain ... everything is bundled as one.
If you don't already follow @mitchells_journey, you are missing out on beautiful stories and life lessons learned from a father's experiences of losing his son to heart failure caused by DMD. He teaches and helps others through his words and non-profit, which Maeband is proud to be a supporter of. 💕
It's been decades since a total solar eclipse has been visible in the continental US... until the one taking place on August 21. @whatismae will be celebrating with a private multisensory aesthetic experience.
Join them here at the studio for a meal, a private acoustic performance, an immersive experience of their song LIGHT, thoughtful discussion, and more. View the eclipse together with Mae the following day. Limited to 50 people (link in bio).
Throwback Thursday to last week! Maely and I had a blast on our vacation to California. We played hard on Balboa Island and then relaxed for a day to prepare ourselves for a FULL day at Disneyland and California Adventure. The best part was we did it all with my sister and her daughter! 💕
Now spinning: 'Destination: Beautiful' by Mae on aqua blue in Coke bottle green with white splatter vinyl. Day 7 of #JuneVinylChallenge is a band you discovered after their breakup. These guys are back together now (thankfully!) but when I initially discovered them, it was just after they had called it quits for the first time. Very glad they're back together now because not only do we get new music and tours, we got these beautiful vinyl represses of their albums, courtesy of @spartanrecords. Confession: despite being a Mae fan for about 6 years now, I NEVER listened to this album in full until a couple months ago when I got my vinyl copy in. Turns out it's just as perfect as the rest of their stuff. Who woulda thought?
