Here. It. Is. The infamous Niv-Cricket. I post boardstate photos and talk about this deck quite often. It’s finally time to reveal it. Only a couple cards need to go into it still, but otherwise this deck takes the game virtually every time it hits the table. Due to TLG’s ability and the cards I run, there are a couple of good ways to win. Aggro, mill, global damage, extra turns, etc. Early game, depending on my hand, I’m either ramping or playing control. The faster I can get Niv Cricket out and the better I can protect him, the quicker the game will be over. Cards like Mindmoil, Purphoros, Ashnod’s Altar, and Skullclamp do a huge number in wrapping the game up early. With a ton of tutors and draw, if you let me take an extra turn... it’s OVER. Anyway! I hope you like it... I surely do! It’s been such a blast playing and learning the past several months. Post any comments or questions you have down below! Thanks for checking it out 😻💪🏼⭐️✨☺️🔥🐝👑

Nylea, inspired by the Greek god of the hunt, Artemis, is associated with the hunt, the seasons, forests, predation, hunger, metamorphosis and rebirth. She protects old groves, killing poachers, and allows Purphoros to burn her forests in order to grow new life. Nylea wields a shortbow called Ephixis. She is disgusted by agriculture, which she sees as an aberration from the natural cycle of the world. Nymphs of all kinds pay homage to her, as do sentient humanoids such as satyrs, centaurs, and many citizens of Setessa. As a card, Nylea goes in any green deck I can fit her in, along with her bow. The Bow of Nylea is so useful, it seems a crime not to use it when relevant.
@thenovl is searching for book reps! I haven't had the chance to read as much as I'd like and I would love to change that. There truly is nothing better than curling up with a new book and a big cup of coffee amirite? 😊 Hope I get a chance to be a book rep, would love this opportunity 💕
Day 22/365 I didn’t want to get up this morning. Work was fine ish. My boss gave me back an updated version of my resume. I was not feeling work at around 3pm and I forgot I signed up to stay later on Friday. Thanks past me 😒Oh well I get OT. Around 6:30pm we were all delirious and we just started dying after a supervisor said something so casual it was funny. We were talking about TVs and how her remote control’s 8 button didn’t work. I died for like the last half hour. I got home and got some mail~ I love mail day. I’ve been wanting a couple of these cards for a hot minute. I laid in bed until late and then got up to do something with my life. Day 12. Attempt #4 of cooking steak. I overcooked it so it was like medium well. Tragic. Ended the night really tired and slept. #365#magicthegathering#mtgfoil#edh#commander
Black White Revel in Riches is an Alternate WinCon deck based around Revel in Riches. It’s 4 generic and 1 black for an Enchantment that says when a creature your opponent controls dies, you get a treasure and on your upkeep, if you have 10 treasures you win. So the point is to get out Revel in Riches, pop out 10 Treasures, untap and win the game. So obviously we’ll need cards that give us Treasure tokens; those cards would be 4x Treasure Maps, 4x Direfleet Hoarders, and 4x Ruthless Knaves. Treasure Map pops out 3 tokens when it flips. Direfleet Hoarder pops out 1 token when it dies, and Ruthless Knave pops out 2 when you use it’s ability to sacrifices a creature. That is 16+ treasure creators. Now this deck can get there, but can it get there fast enough is the main issue. For that we put in an Anointed Procession. That will double your tokens as they pop out. So turn 1, Sacred Cat as a chump blocker, turn 2 Direfleet Hoarder, turn 3 Ruthless Knave, turn 4 Anointed Procession, turn 5 sacrifice Direfleet Hoarder to the Knave and pop out 6 tokens (2 from Hoarder, 4 from Knave), then turn 5 play Revel in Riches, turn 6 play a Sacred cat, Sac that with the Knaves ability and pass the turn, turn 7 win the game.
This is my take on God-Pharaoh’s Gift. I cut Angel of Invention and Search for Azcanta to trim the budget by $100 or so. I added more copies of Chart a Course, and threw in 2 new cards; Riverwise Augur and Ravenous Chupacabra. Once you get GPG on the field, you can bring them back as a free Brainstorm or Removal with a 4/4 body. A ton of value. Another card I added was Yahenni’s Expertise. It helps put creatures in your graveyard for Gate to the Afterlife, and it also lets you free cast a card with 3cmc or less. Dropping White does cut you off of Angel of Invention, but I slotted in Gifted Aetherborn for Lifegain and to scare off attackers with it’s deathtouch. Not much else, different in here besides the extra God-Pharaoh’s Gift and addition of 2 Evolving Wilds to shuffle away bad Brainstorms.
What is your favorite card from Rivals of Ixalan for Commander?!! Doesn’t have to be your actual Commander Card!
