Bought a #new#reddot for my #magpul#pdr ; it's a #clone of the #fc1 , but it's built like a #tank .
I would go so far as to say I wouldn't be surprised if this was a factory second. (It's almost certainly not, but it feels like it could be.) Little bit of refraction in the #optics at high brightness, but it's nothing attention grabbing. The #2moa dot is crisp and clear at all times, it just has a bit of a halo at the edge of the viewing window due to the focus mirror not being full frame.
The optics themselves are a single prisim, one concave focusing mirror, and an LED, so nearly #bombproof . The casing is a very nice aluminium enclosure, with crisp markings, and a excellent annodized finish. It weighs a ton, and has an included removable riser. Adjustments (L/R, U/D) have a nice click to them, and appear to be metal from my quick disassembly/poke through of the FC1.
For $46 shipped (it arrived in a week even!) from China, I'd say this is almost a steal. It came in a nice plastic case as well, which apparently the real one doesn't... Hah.
While I tend to use zoom scopes far more than red dots, I couldn't pass up on how cool it looked (sue me). I'm sure it will find a home eventually, even if on my #vfc#g19#carbine#kit . (Hey, that would look pretty sweet actually...) #airsoft#pewpewpew#sights#acm#prism#mirror#led#6mm#optic
