A few nights ago I found a TON of @anastasiabeverlyhills products at my local @marshalls and couldn’t help but be suspicious of its authenticity and I had heard chatter on IG that they are fakes. I had already emailed #abh telling them what I found and they responded today confirming that their genuine products can be found at these locations.
-However I took it one step further and examined the packaging of the ones found at Marshall’s to one that I still had unopened from Ulta. I found some differences that seemed tell tale for fakes and emailed pics to ABH again and they promptly assured me they are legit.
Now I imagine that it is possible that some counterfeits may slip through from time to time (probably anywhere) since the beauty black market is huge right now on high end makeup brands but this is as much comfort as I can get. So happy shopping everyone!
And always be an *informed consumer* there are a ton of scumbags out there that will be happy to make money off of harmful products and unfortunately it is up to us to do our own research.

M O T D part II of IV 💄
Good evening beauties, Sunday #motd ! This time I wanted to try the pencil technique. This is a makeup technique based on the use of a sharp eye pencil to draw the makeup structure. I saw some makeup tutorials and some photos here on Instagram, also by my IG friend @chicroe_makeupartist a talented makeup artist. I am only an amateur but I am always curious to try new products and approaches to the makeup game. Today I used a new palette too! See you tomorrow for more makeup pics, closeups and the list of the products I used.
Buonasera bellezze!
