#makeyourself @brionyajames Talent of the soul, #. So today I’d like to #share 5 of my own favorite tips for finding more #peace and #calmness in everyday life.
1Set limits. If your #life is overfilled you may need to set some limits. So stop doing some of the least important things, the things that #honestly don’t matter that much. Set a limit for how many times you will check inboxes, Instagram, Twitter etc.
per day. And say no if you really don’t have the time.
2Find a #relaxation technique that works for you. I like belly #breathing and working out to release tensions and recharge during the day. What works for you? Long walks, music, yoga, meditation or going for a swim? Find out and do that.
3Don’t make mountains out of molehills. This can create a lot of unnecessary stress. When facing what looks like a mountain ask #yourself questions like: Does someone on the planet have it worse than me right now? Will this matter in 5 years? These questions help you to #zoom out and realize that things may not be that bad and that you can handle them.
4Slow #down . Your #emotions work backwards too. If you slow down while walking, moving your body or talking you can often start to feel less stressed (compared to if you move/talk fast). #Slowing down to decrease stress goes for many other things you do in everyday life too like riding your bicycle, working at your desk and eating.
5 #Unclutter your world, unclutter your mind. Just take 3 minutes to declutter your workspace or the room you’re in. A uncluttered, simplified and ordered space around you brings clarity and order to the mind. So don’t stop there. Declutter, #simplify and organize your home and life too to live in a more relaxing #environment .
Happy #humpday everyone! Headed back to the sunshine.✌🏼☀️🌵#az
Love using resistance bands for body weight training. They build lean muscle while improving core stability + posture at the same time.
Here's my top 5️⃣ Booty Band Exercises✌🏼Best after 30-45 min cardio. Circuit: 3x 45sec, 15rest. 30sec rest between rounds.
1. Squats + Side Raise.
2. Forward Squat Walk.
3. Band Deadlift.
4. Resisted Glue Bridge (Self-Resisted)
5. Kick Backs. (Long band with handles)

Repost from @rdqlus - You would have to be an Omaha native, or at least very familiar with Downtown, to understand the significance of this for me. Howard St. is the spine of the legendary Old Market, and at the head of that street is an old, iconic wall mural marking the western boundary. On this wall have been some of the most important, significant, iconic names in business in the city of Omaha—Jams, Zio's, the Dubliner… indelible names. Now, my #HVYCRWN sits at the heart of this legendary wall amidst these icons. Playing on the word "coast" as in to put no power, effort or motivation into progress, my design simply means "can't stop… won't stop." I'm just a street kid from the Projects of North O. I only ever say that to mark my starting point because my legacy will never be measured in money or fame or successes, but by the places I've gone from that beginning. I'm that kid who has grown up to now see his own legacy on the streets of my city. Pardon me while I just chill in this moment for a minute. If you know me, especially my peoples & folks I grew up with, go take a snap at 13th & Howard and send it to me or tag #RDQLUS —I'd love to see that! #OMAGOODNESS I am the O.NE! #wedontcoast

Sarah of @mountainmamadesigns is part of our Makers Giveaway and will be making an American flag that will be given away to one winner in our community! Here’s her story of her woodworking journey she’s been on so far.
My name is Sarah
Mother of 4
We started our lil business about 4 years ago making baby mobiles and some party decor...I wanted a specific mobile and couldn't find it so I thought "I can make that" and I did! However over the last 2 years we have evolved into specializing in wood signs & home decor. Our mission is to create statement pieces for our customers to put in their homes with the hopes that they become heirlooms for their family to enjoy for many years. From start to finish, we are the ones handcrafting all of Mountain Mamas projects.
We design, cut, paint, assemble all in house.
Each & every piece of wood, whether it's birch, pine, reclaimed wood, etc., is carefully hand selected keeping the individual projects in mind.
