Great session tonight! Pumped arms, then tested my knee for a run. I was a hit worried at first but as I ran it started to loosen up. Feels better now after the run than it has for two weeks. It's not normal, however, to let what others think of you consume you, especially to the point you're conforming to be anything and everything that you're not. And if they're not putting in effort to be in your life, trust me, it's for a reason. Don't try to force something that's one-sided.
It took me a long time to figure out who I am and I'm still learning. Like many others, I've gone through leaps and bounds in my 28 years on this earth. There are a lot of things that I had to go through that I wouldn't wish upon anyone, and I had to grow up too fast, but I'm not here to welcome a pity party or talk about my past. I learned, I grew, I let go, and I moved on. My past doesn't define who I am today, and I will never judge someone who they are currently based on who they were once before. I don't hold grudges and I don't hold things over someone's head to throw in their face under any circumstance.
Age is just a number. If you're 25 and want to go back to school, do it. If you're 45 and want to go back to school, hey, go for it. Don't let a number dictate what you can or can't do. Life is short. Take the trip. Make the call. Do something that scares you. Speaking of numbers, others to not dwell on include the scale and anything number related in regards to social media.
And always remember that you are beautiful, regardless of what society deems as "beautiful" at the time. Be unapologetically you, always. #wednesdaywisdom
I knoooowwww--- I've been super MIA... again. But I had good reason. I spent some quality time with family over the weekend and have now been super busy getting ready for school (senior year!). but don't fret- I will be back to photographing my yummy food and selfies after my work outs 😬 *i still love you*
Bedtimes. I always try and get about 7 hours sleep each night. It what i work best on, much less i end up struggling the next day. Sleep is so important for recovery and making sure you can preform at your best the next day 💪

Have you changed this year? It may seem like you're getting nowhere despite all your hard efforts - I know just how you feel. But it takes months and years to really get somewhere.
Don't compare your progress to someone that has been doing it for much longer than you have.
The picture on the left was December just after Christmas in 2016. The picture on the right is today. Don't be ashamed of your progress or of little things like cellulite, stretch marks or fat! We all have it. If something isn't working, then it's time to change it up!
I'm a bit scared to admit how much healthier my diet was on the left to what it is now, but I needed to shock the system to finally start bulking properly, and I needed the energy to help me lift heavier. 💪
Never give up! Nothing is impossible and no one can tell you that you'll never make it. I guarantee that you will - but you must believe that you can. 💖

Worked up to a 1RM on bench 95lbs + 37.4lbs of chains and it was ROUGH! This was my first time benching with chains. Dropped back don and did 5x3@75+ chains!

Leg Raises! Targeting the Lower Abs ⚡️👌
On my new workout program, I'm hitting abs essentially every day besides Sunday. The leg raises have came a long way! If you're looking to implement these start trying 3 sets of 10 AND 3 sets of "ab wheels". Focus on contracting your lower abs (transverse abdomis). Here's to sculpting that beach bod! Leg day was a sweaty one today! Just wanted to remind everyone that form is the MOST important thing in your workouts. I myself am guilty of rushing through things when I have preworkout surging through my veins 😈 but REMEMBER: your body NEEDS you to do it right. Rushing won't get you the results you want. I had to stop myself a few times today and say SLOW THE F*CK DOWN AND DO IT RIGHT. So keep yourself in check!!! #legdayworkout#legworkout#gluteworkout
👉🏼DO YOU FLOSS?👈🏼 I don't mean your teeth 😬 I mean do you "floss" your hips? This movement that I'm doing is GREAT for getting deep into those hip flexors and really opening them up. Step 1) get down on the floor in a lunge position, make sure your knees aren't going over your toes. 2) Drop your other hip down and let your back leg straighten 3) tuck your butt under to deepen the stretch 4) keep your arms in a stable position.
