Great session tonight! Pumped arms, then tested my knee for a run. I was a hit worried at first but as I ran it started to loosen up. Feels better now after the run than it has for two weeks. It's not normal, however, to let what others think of you consume you, especially to the point you're conforming to be anything and everything that you're not. And if they're not putting in effort to be in your life, trust me, it's for a reason. Don't try to force something that's one-sided. 
It took me a long time to figure out who I am and I'm still learning. Like many others, I've gone through leaps and bounds in my 28 years on this earth. There are a lot of things that I had to go through that I wouldn't wish upon anyone, and I had to grow up too fast, but I'm not here to welcome a pity party or talk about my past. I learned, I grew, I let go, and I moved on. My past doesn't define who I am today, and I will never judge someone who they are currently based on who they were once before. I don't hold grudges and I don't hold things over someone's head to throw in their face under any circumstance. 
Age is just a number. If you're 25 and want to go back to school, do it. If you're 45 and want to go back to school, hey, go for it. Don't let a number dictate what you can or can't do. Life is short. Take the trip. Make the call. Do something that scares you. Speaking of numbers, others to not dwell on include the scale and anything number related in regards to social media. 
And always remember that you are beautiful, regardless of what society deems as "beautiful" at the time. Be unapologetically you, always. #wednesdaywisdom

Would you guys believe me if I told you that all it took was an hour in the kitchen to prep all of my 8 counted meals for just under $15??? Yeah, that's right. I said it. 8 meals for under $15 freaking bucks! πŸ€‘ I don't know about you but I get tired of constantly having to eat out when I know I don't have the money for it, yet alone it's bad for MY body because my body realizes all the bad junk I've consumed. Seeing that I'm able to whip out healthier meal choices for myself, and for the babe, under a budget ,that'll last us for half a week, is still pretty amazing if you ask me. That's 1/4 of what we would spend if we did the same eating elsewhere! Score!! β€”
Eating healthy doesn't have to mean you're spending bank trying to go organic or some πŸ’© like that; no. You just gotta choose the better option. Example: almond milk instead of whole milk; quinoa/brown rice instead of white rice; something along the sort of those lines. Now I'm not no certified health expert/nutritionist but I'm not making these things up. Trust me though, it may sound and look bad, but your body will thank you and sure enough you'd be surprised on how your mind thinks too πŸ˜‰ It's not so bad if you gave it a try ☺️ -

Happy Wednesday guys!! Two things I love about Wednesday is #1 it means we're halfway through the week πŸ€— and #2 it's my second (out of three) leg day whoop! Whoop! I wanted to post an update and fill you in a little bit on how my bulk is going. I have been on a high carb diet for about a month now and so far I've seen about 1.5 lb. weight gain! My body fat has definitely gone up and unfortunately I tend to carry it all around the middle πŸ™„. I'm trying to not let it bother me that much and just keep reminding myself it's all part of the process. Happy Wednesday guys!! Two things I love about Wednesday is #1  it means we're halfway through the week πŸ€— and #2  it's my second (out of three) leg day whoop! Whoop! I wanted to post an update and fill you in a little bit on how my bulk is going. I have been on a high carb diet for about a month now and so far I've seen about 1.5 lb. weight gain! My body fat has definitely gone up and unfortunately I tend to carry it all around the middle πŸ™„. I'm trying to not let it bother me that much and just keep reminding myself it's all part of the process. Leg day was a sweaty one today! Just wanted to remind everyone that form is the MOST important thing in your workouts. I myself am guilty of rushing through things when I have preworkout surging through my veins 😈 but REMEMBER: your body NEEDS you to do it right. Rushing won't get you the results you want. Step 1) get down on the floor in a lunge position, make sure your knees aren't going over your toes. 2) Drop your other hip down and let your back leg straighten 3) tuck your butt under to deepen the stretch 4) keep your arms in a stable position.
