Today was a special day.
We've worked 12 hours and everyone was tired. And while sitting together the principal told us something. Something I won't forget for a long time. Maybe i'll remember it forever.
One of the 300 children, 3rd grade (9 or 10 years old), born in Syria, came to Germany a year or two ago and did ladder acrobatics during the project week.
He said: 'I've seen war and I've left my country because of the war. We've never felt save in Syria. When I came here, I didn't knew anything. But here I learned to trust. I trust my team mates and that they will make sure, that I'm safe.'
It filled everyones eyes with tears.
I don't know a things, that makes me feel better than looking at some childrens eyes, who are proud of theirself, because their trick went well.
But this was something special. This means something. And I'm thankful for this little moment.
