Mr Russell Crowe saying it best, " A journey of 1000 miles begins with just a single step" he said this to a young 16 year old Henry Cavill before he began his acting career, fast forward 10 years, he stars as Superman in The Man Of Steel. But this can be meaningful to every walk of life, every career! Have the courage, the faith, to go after your dreams, but be prepared to put in the work, and it all starts with that first step. #motivation#inspired#henrycavill#manofsteel#russellcrowe#superman#batman#dc

One thing I noticed about Heath Ledger's Joker is something that I touched on in the prologue to this little character study series; The Joker in "The Dark Knight" is essentially a satirical terrorist, using his crimes and the corruption of others to illustrate the fallibility of modern civilization.
He does it as justification for who he is. He's visibly disturbed when called a "freak" as though he's wrong or abnormal when really - in his eyes, at least - he's just honest with himself. But in someone like Batman, who acts outside of the "norm," Joker sees a worthy equal. More on that later, but essentially, Batman is the opposite extreme on the spectrum the Joker works in; the Joker wanted someone who could see things his way.
It's clear in the film, and the scenes I selected, that The Joker's lectures to Batman and Harvey Dent are meant to appeal to them. Of course Batman rejected Joker's ideals, but Harvey Dent - a man broken by the pain of loss and his terrible disfigurement - was disillusioned enough with the "right" way that The Joker was able to entice Dent - with some adept manipulation - into a full transition as Two-Face. Harvey was, as a result, "The Dark Knight's" version of Harley Quinn. The book that comes closest to reflecting this sort of "corruption of others" mindset is Batman: The Killing Joke, and I dug as deeply as I could for any other works to support this trait.

My dad was so freaking awesome & what's crazy, or maybe just typical teen ego, I never truly knew how genius he was until he died. He was gifted with a very special ear for talent & music. I know this bc I too feel it. When my dad died, I vowed to continue his legacy. Managed my first artist in my freshman year at HU, @dking730 & then the beautiful songstress @tennatorres, which led me to @wavve @dumbass_genius to then @ninjasonik. All artists who are one of a kind & truly special. To this day, I'm still in music, working with my dads best friend at @penaltyent. Whether or not I've broken records, charted artists, made millions or even thousands, I've never felt closer to my dad than when I'm in the thick of it, working with each of these artists...and for me, that's priceless. Thank you to all mentioned for allowing me to be a part of your journey, your passion, memories I will have for a lifetime. For a long time I wished he was here to see me, guide me, even yell at me...but since his death, I'll randomly hear one of his songs, even till this day, while I was in the beauty supply store. I know in my heart that he's always been there, rt by my side. It says a lot when someone spearheads not only an artist, but leads a genre. Back then Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam were charted on Billboards Black Music (yea, they called it Black Music in the 80s). From 1985-2017 still going strong. Pardon my long caption, I'm just proud of my daddy. Love you @fullforceworld (the most talented artists/producers/writers/all of the above) @thebowlegged1 @therealpaulanthony @lisalisall77 true pioneers ❤️ #tbt#stevesalem#manofsteel
I love you Daddy ❤️
