Parkor hard core kids. The 1st game was short and simple, this reboot /sequel thing of a game is a bit of a mess. Yes it returns with the flow mechanic that makes the Parkor fun. What is not fun is a game full of glitches. As I bounce around the city trying to be like batman and solve every person's problems and collect pointless yellow data orbs, I will clip through buildings, walls or rails that I need to grab. The biggest one was at the last level with the tower were I jumped on a pipe to reach a certain area, but I just kept climbing non stop until I reached the top even when there was no pipe. Combat is repetitive and you can even pick up a gun like the last one... At end of the day the game try's to be a shallow successor to the original. 5/10 #mirror#mirroredge#EA#ps4#xboxone#pc#parkor#life#people#world#outdoor#climb#game#mario#nintendo#catalyst#red#asian#runner
My appendix decided that it had outgrown me and that it was meant for bigger things, so I decided to let it go free. Because of that, I am now in a hospital room coping with the departure of my appendix and without access to my collection. •
It is a good thing then that @the.martin.exp recently tagged me to talk about my most liked post and my favorite post in the Gram. I'm going to add to that a post that has special significance to me so here it goes. •
Most liked post: I'm actually quite proud of this one, particularly because of the circumstances under which it was taken. I am not a fan of taking pictures in public because of my social anxiety. But when I was tagged for @jaybaam's tag #howdoyoumariokart , I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to show off the means of transportation of my daily commute and of hundreds of thousand others. To my surprise, the post caught fire and I was amazed that it kept going up and up. Good times.
My favorite post: I love the Metal Gear picture I took in Mexico. At the time, I was attending a conference and had some pretty sweet digs in the Yucatán peninsula. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to take a picture in the lush wilderness of that beautiful country. But my favorite part is that I did not make one of my usually long posts, but rather just had a short but sweet caption. Not the most appreciated post but my favorite. •
Post that means something to me: The Link's Awakening picture holds significance to me because that was the moment that I started becoming comfortable with my account and doing my own thing, posting narratives about my personal experience and expressing why a particular video game has particular significance for me. It is an early post so there are not many likes but it was definitely a turning point for my account.
So there you have it. A bit self indulgent, I know, but I need to keep myself entertained while in a hospital bed. I want to thank my partners for their support and perhaps they can talk about their most liked/favorite posts:
