Katherine "Kitty" Pryde was a 13½-year old Jewish girl whose genius level intellect allowed her to take college-level courses despite her young age. Kitty led a fairly normal life until she began suffering headaches of steadily increasing intensity, which were a result of her emerging mutant power. Kitty Pryde is a mutant with the ability to “phase” through solid matter by shifting her atoms through the spaces between the atoms of the object through which she is moving. Kitty can phase her clothing along with herself, and through practice has learned to phase other objects and people without harm to them. For all intents and purposes, Kitty is intangible whilst phasing, however she is still vulnerable to psionic or mystical attacks. Certain forms of energy can also disrupt her phased state. =============== SHE HAS A THING FOR GUYS NAMED PETER
Everyone has a type. For Kitty, that’s guys who are heroic, initially unavailable, and of course, are named Peter.
When Kitty first joined the X-Men, she had a crush on Piotr Rasputin AKA Colossus, which would eventually turn into a full blown relationship, though the editors put an end to it for a few years when they remembered that she was 14 and he was at least 18. Following that heartbreak, Kitty dated Pete Wisdom, a black ops agent and a member of Excalibur. In the Ultimate Universe, she dated Peter Parker – he even broke up with Mary Jane for her. Most recently, she spent some time in Star-Lord’s spaceship and got engaged to Peter Quill of the Guardians of the Galaxy.
Kitty has dated other people in the past, notably Bobby Drake AKA Iceman, but her most serious relationships are always with guys named Peter. One comic even revealed that her childhood pet was a hamster named Peter, so at this point, the writers are just messing with us, right? Scott Summers was the first of two sons born to Major Christopher Summers, a test pilot for the U.S. Air Force, and his wife Katherine. Christopher was flying his family home from vacation when their plane was attacked by a spacecraft from the interstellar Shi'ar Empire. To save their lives, Katherine pushed Scott and his brother Alex out of the plane with the only available parachute. Scott suffered a head injury upon landing, thus forever preventing him from controlling his mutant power by himself. ================
CYCLOPS KILLED CHARLES XAVIER AND IS NOW BOTH LOVED AND HATED BY MANY MUTANTS... Despite being one of his first students and something of his protege, Cyclops didn’t always see eye to eye with Charles Xavier. This really came to a head during the Avengers vs X-Men storyline when Cyclops, in possession of part of the Phoenix Force, began to take the well-being of mutants, and the rest of the world, into his own hands. Professor Xavier didn’t agree with most of these actions, and was killed by Cyclops during a fight.
The death of Charles Xavier at the hands of Cyclops left many mutants divided on their view of the X-Man. Many hated him for killing the man who embodied the best that mutantkind had to offer, while some approved of the actions he took. This easily mirrors the way fans have viewed Cyclops over the years, with there being camps of fans who hate the character and think he’s terrible and others who count him among their favorite Marvel characters. Bobby Drake discovered his mutant power to create ice while in his early teens, yet kept his condition hidden from everyone but his parents. Initially, Bobby was unable to stop feeling cold and shivering, but soon managed to keep it under control.
Iceman is able to lower his external and internal body temperature without harm to himself, thereby radiating intense cold from his body. Iceman is able to reach -105 degrees Fahrenheit within a few seconds, and is immune to sub-zero temperatures around him.
HE ORIGINALLY LOOKED LIKE A SNOWMAN
Iceman has the ability to change his body into numerous forms. The form that most people associate the character with is his solid ice body with the square head. One of the extensions of his power is the ability to alter his physical body into an ice form (and transform back into flesh & blood). This ice body acts like a form of armour that shields him from damage (due to the durability of hard-packed ice). He later learned that he could regenerate his physical body if he transform into the ice form quick enough.
When Iceman first appeared in The X-Men #1 , he looked like a snowman wearing a pair of boots. He had no discernible features, outside of small black holes where his eyes should be. It would have been more accurate to call him “Snowman” during this period, as he mainly used snow based attacks. He can be seen throwing a snowball at Magneto on the cover of The X-Men #1 . The master of magnetism must have been quaking in his boots at the thought of the tiny rocks that may have been hidden in that snowy missile.

"The elements marshal their infinite might at my beckoning! Power seethes in the rolling clouds! Now, at my command -- STRIKE!"
Ororo Munroe, also known as Storm, is the descendant of an ancient line of African priestesses, all of whom have white hair, blue eyes, and the potential to wield magic. Born Ororo Munroe, her mother, N'Daré, was the princess of a tribe in Kenya, who married the American photojournalist, David Munroe, and moved with him to Manhattan, where Ororo was born. -----------------------------
SHE HAS BEEN AN AVENGER AND HAS GONE TO ASGARD
Captain America actually approached Black Panther to become an Avenger, and he was the one to put Storm’s name forward. Storm joined a newly formed team (alongside Captain America, Iron Man, Spider Woman, Hawkeye, Quake, Red Hulk and Vision), and was quickly up against Norman Osborn and HAMMER. Along with the other Avengers, she defeated Osborne, but she was forced to choose sides when her Avengers team went up against the X-Men in a battle over Hope and the Phoenix force. She eventually returned to the X-Men fold to co-lead a new X-Force team.
Storm has also traveled to Asgard, where she was briefly tempted by Loki, who offered her the title of Goddess of Thunder (and a magical hammer to go with it, Thor-style). Obviously, she manages to break free of his control (with a little help from Wolverine), and heads back to Earth to become leader of the X-Men once again. Much like her relationship with Black Panther, we won’t be seeing either of these sides of Storm on screen until Marvel and Fox decide to share character rights. "Foolish rabble! Your pitiful display is nothing to my new-found power!" - The Abomination
Emil Blonsky was a communist Croatian Yugoslavian spy who infiltrated the U.S. Air Force base in New Mexico that was commanded by General T.E. "Thunderbolt" Ross and where Dr. Robert Bruce Banner, the nuclear physicist who became the Hulk, conducted many of his experiments with gamma radiation. Blonsky made three attempts to sabotage missiles at the base that were vital to the defense of the United States. Although each attempt was narrowly thwarted, the Air Force still did not know who the saboteur was until Blonsky's transformation.
The gamma radiation that mutated the Abomination's body fortified his cellular structure and added, from some as yet unknown source, over 800 pounds of bone marrow and tissue to his body. Unlike the Hulk's, the Abomination's transformation has proved stable; he cannot change back and forth between his human state and his superhuman state.

THE MAGNETO SOLO MOVIE BECAME X-MEN: FIRST CLASS
The 2007-2008 Writers Guild of America strike ended up affecting the fate of several TV show and movies. One example of this was Heroes. Due to the strike, half of the planned Heroes episodes for those years were not produced. This forced the creators to have to work around this limitation, much to the detriment of the show’s quality.
One franchise that was heavily affected by the Writers Guild Strike was X-Men. There was going to be a standalone Magneto movie. It would show the events of Magneto’s life, from his days in the Concentration Camps to being saved by Charles Xavier (who was a soldier). He would later be shown hunting the Nazis that fled from justice. Ian McKellen was going to shoot the opening and closing scenes of the film, but a new actor would play him for the rest of the movie.
When the Writers Guild Strike began, the Magneto movie was temporarily shelved until it was resolved. In the meantime, X-Men: First Class began to take form. In the end, several of the elements of the solo Magneto movie (the depiction of his early years, the Nazi-hunting) made it into the film. This may have all been for the best, as X-Men: First Class went on to be one of the best films in the franchise.
