Be willing to step outside your comfort zone once in a while; take the risks in life that seem worth taking. The ride might not be as predictable if you'd just planted your feet and stayed put, but it will be a heck of a lot more interesting. --Edward Whitacre, Jr.

It has been a big 3 weeks. #letourdefrance2017 is coming to an end, after many highlights and talking points. There has also been lots going on for me: riding #maratonadlesdolomites (#mdd31 ); a week in #nyc ; and then riding #etapedutour2017 . Was nice to be back in the Jura today for a wonderful ride on my own. Took in the last 50km of the #tdf2017#stage8 (that I missed while in NYC). So many memories on the road and so nice to have the time to ride and think about these amazing past 3 weeks #viveletour
Throwback Thursday to one of the epic rides I have ever done by far ⭐️
Maratona dles Dolomites -- early last year it was only a "I wish I could join", "I hope I can join someday" thought.. and then the universe conspired with me and we made it happen this year 🙏🏻
More than 35,000 cyclists tried to get the slot, but there are only less than 10,000 avail.. I got lucky.
It doesnt need much for the organizer to dazzle the participants, with the beautiful landscape and scenery of the Alta Badia region; yet they still entertain every participants and family with cool expo, seamless race pack collection process and superb gimmick inside it!
It is their 31st roll out, and it shows how this event has helped the economy of the region and villages in Alta Badia. The villages were adorned with event signage, hotels and restaurants were welcoming paticipants and never ending cheering on D day. This is THEIR event as well!
The route was awesome. Almost out of this world experience! Never I saw switchbacks full of ants-marching-bike on top and below me! There were no strangers there, we cheered each other, embracing the pain while immersed in the beauty of the nature
Approaching the finish line, it was a mixed feeling of joy, thankful, disbelief, satisfaction and humility... thank God for this experience.. 🙏🏻
Personally, it is not just a race, a ride, but it is a journey to self discovery. Humbling experience and am in love with cycling even more after the event.
Thank you @c2c_bike for the opportunity 🌟
