I've been feeling great for the last few days after reaching such an unreal total loss of 15 stone (210lb) but waking up this morning my mind started to focus on whether I'm due a weight loss blip which I seem to have every 4-6 weeks as an unexplained gain or maintain. 
With that in mind I want to throw some #saturdaymotivation out there with my updated weight loss journey certificate wall. Each one of these certificate represents 0.5 stone (7lb) of weight loss and I honestly never thought I'd be where I am now let alone in less than 16 months having done no exercise at all. 💥HOW TO END DIET SABOTAGE💥

📍Ah, yes. Diet sabotage. An issue we've all struggled with at some point or another. What makes diet sabotage so hard is that there's both an upside (YAY calories!) and a downside (TOO MANY yummy calories to lose fat).

📍Let's dig into a few common self-sabotaging behaviors and what we can do to end to the cycle.
.
1️⃣ Prevent overeating on the weekends. It isn’t hard to undo a week of dieting with just a few indulgences over the weekend.
.
🙌🏼 Save a few calories during the week to spend on the weekend. Be aware and know the calorie content of your choices.
.
2️⃣ Avoid rewarding exercise with food. Many people kid themselves into thinking they’ve burned off a lot more calories than they actually have, and use that as an excuse to eat more than needed.
.
🙌🏼 Be aware that exercise actually burns very few calories, so be cautious of that when you’re tempted to reward yourself afterwards.
.
3️⃣ Don't let one dietary slip-up ruin your entire day. Just do your best to get back on track at your next meal.
.
🙌🏼 You can’t change what you’ve already done, but you *can* control what you do next. If you’ve done some impulsive eating, put it behind you. Remind yourself that if you’re careful, you can probably stay within your calorie budget for the remainder of the day.
.
4️⃣ Give new habits time to get established. It can take weeks for habits to stick. Be patient. Acknowledge it. Plan for it. Expect it.
.
🙌🏼 Make sure that the new habit you’re trying to create is possible. Understand that changing behavior is a process, and that screwing up is part of the process.

I just package up these little goldfish crackers for our 3 kids to take to school and crèche.
I got these from costco, and from ONE packet (there were 3 in the box for $18) I got 32 servings. 
So, factoring in the cost of the snap bags, these are $0.23 each serve and it cost me $7.50 for 32 servings including the bags.
That's a great bargain if you ask me. 
Normally I pay $4 for an 8 pack ($0.50 per serving) from coles/aldi. 
It's better than half price, and is going to save us loads throughout the year. .

📍I recently read that we tend to buy the same 20-ish foods every time we hit the grocery store.

📍If you want to start making healthier food choices, try substituting some of your usual pre-packaged items for something whole and fresh.
.
📍Be deliberate about including it in one of your meals each day. Maybe, at the beginning, you substitute your usual fried chicken fingers for some baked salmon.
.
📍And then the next week you work in an apple with peanut butter instead of that pre-bed ice cream every day.
.
📍One thing I noticed about myself early on is if I went grocery shopping immediately after a workout, I was far more inclined to stick to my guns and choose healthier options, because that was the frame of mind I was in at the time.

📍Changing behavior patterns that we've been executing for our entire lives is a lot of hard work and takes an incredible amount of mental awareness, but small changes over time add up to big results if you stay the course.

Omg these ribs literally fell off the bone. My father in law used my homemade BBQ sauce & homemade BBQ rub. Not gonna lie, literally the BEST I've ever had. All credit to my FIL! The picture certainly doesn't do the ribs justice.

Seriously my PERFECT dinner. I feel so grateful my family helps support my love for good/healthy food!

Tomorrow we are back at Noblesville Fitness Festival with @run_around_usa! Didn't Michelle, Hannah, and I make our vendor booth look awesome?! I also decided to last minute run the 5k, you just can't beat the energy of a race. I'm not expecting a great time or anything, but I'm excited to just get back out there for the first time since the Indy Mini!

My mom did something pretty amazing tonight... made spaghetti squash spaghetti, with a sugar-free marinara (couldn't tell the difference), and added sautéed mushrooms, yellow peppers and vidalia onions to the sauce, then some ground beef. Seriously, I don't think it could be any tastier and it was 110% #fixapproved! Probably one of the best things I've ate during this pregnancy and will want more of it as a craving from here on out!
