I don't feel like making any salad when I am hungry. Preparing few jars with salads in advance makes my life easier and helps me eat healthy. By no means I eat like this all the time, I am only human and...the last think I want is to feel like I'm on a diet. For me, eating healthy 80 percent of the time and enjoying whatever I like the other 20 percent works great. I don't feel deprived and feel motivated to maintain healthy habits. I am using a paper towel in each jar to absorb humidity and keep the lettuce fresh.

Wrapping up my first 4 weeks with my new coach @bshaefit and still eating well and not feeling deprived. Changes in my body are coming slowly but I am trusting the process and letting these be LASTING results instead of a quick fix. This week we added 1 additional session of a steady 30 minutes of cardio in addition to the 2 days of HIIT (that literally only take me 10-15 minutes to complete), so I jogged down to the river and back, about 2 miles. Drank this delicious smoothie from the #shreddedchef to help with muscle recovery post work out. Going to keep my meal prep simple this week because I still have plenty of Mexican meatloaf leftover from last week. The frosting was made with just coconut cream and dehydrated strawberries to make the cake sugar free. Topped off with some strawberry flowers and organic sprinkles. Happy birthday Lilah!
