I finally feel like I've found FOOD  FREDOM and don't sweat it when I indulge on the weekends (because I eat 99% clean during the week) but I've been sleeping like crap for weeks and feel a mental fog.

Not trying to lose weight or find a quick fix - I haven't even gained a pound. I'm hoping to cleanse some of the sludge out of my system so I can feel 100% again.

It's worked for me before and I know it will again! 😊 
Tomorrow I'll be posting all of my meals and snacks throughout the day (this cleanse actually lets you eat REAL FOOD!) so you guys can see EXACTLY what it entails. Just check out my story!! 🤗

A continuation post of yesterday afternoon meal prep. I've found for me the key to eating healthy and staying mindful of what I'm eating is prepping my snacks/desserts. Not only does it help us from binge eating unnecessary sugary processed mess (especially if you work in an office environment where that stuff always seems to be laying around somewhere) but we will also be more satisfied and not experience a sugar crash afterwards. Talk about a win-win situation!👌🏼 It just takes a little commitment in the beginning. 🍒🥝🍓Just be sure to eat fruit at least 1 hour after you've had a cooked meal to prevent possible gas!🙊

This picture on the left is my first day and than almost exactly 1 year later! I not only hit the onederland during that year (which was HUGE) but I even saw muscles which I had never seen before and was totally crazy to me! Do not be overwhelmed by the journey. Take baby steps and just keep moving forward. One day at a time. Small steps forward lead to big results! Just keep going! Because a lot can happen in a year!

Happy Sunday Meal Prep day! What's on everyone's plates this week? 
Recipe will be up on the blog soon for these zoodles with paleo meatballs and OMG they're so good. I mixed some ground beef with turkey and the combo was unreal. I'm definitely keeping this recipe in my pocket for future dinners. Next I want to try adding nutritional yeast to these to see if that gives them a cheesy taste. Speaking on nutritional yeast- what else do you use it for? Help a girl out because I have a whole bag of it and I'm clueless 😂. This prep took only an hour so we know how happy that makes me. Short preps are the best preps! .

I actually had to go back to the store because as soon as I prepped the first batch of grapes I turned around and Freddy had almost eaten all of them in one day (as you can see here, he kept reaching for the second batch, but I liked the way his hand looked when I snapped the pic so it worked out haha).

Ingredients for 4 servings: ⠀
-1 package @ancientharvest Pow Green Lentil Penne⠀
- 28 oz. can @wholefoods 365 organic diced tomatoes (no salt added)⠀
-2 3oz. pckages @lightlifefoods original tempeh⠀
-2 large red bell peppers⠀
-Cooking Spray ⠀
⠀
Instructions: ⠀
1.) Preheat oven to 350 degree. Add 4 quarts of water to a large pan and bring to a boil. ⠀
2.) Add pasta to boiling water and cook 7-9 minutes, stirring every so often. ⠀
3.) While pasta is cooking, dice tempeh and slice peppers.  Layer on a sheet pan, covered in cooking spray. Bake Tempeh + Peppers ~10 minutes.⠀
4.) Drain pasta and allow everything (pasta, tempeh and peppers to cool). ⠀
5.) Once cooled, layer in four containers as follows (I just split everything evenly and eye-ball the measurements): ⠀
-Pasta⠀
-1/4 c. diced tomatoes⠀
-red peppers⠀
-tempeh⠀
6.) Voila! Store in the fridge and reheat when you're ready to eat. ⠀

Zutaten für 2 Portionen ⏺120g Jasmin Reis
⏺200g frische Zuckerschoten
⏺1 Paprika
⏺2 Knoblauchzehen
⏺1 cm Ingwer
⏺1 TL Erdnussöl
⏺300g Hähnchenbrustfleisch
⏺1 1 /2 EL Zitronensaft
⏺1 1/2 EL Sojasauce
⏺Pfeffer
⏺Koriander ⏹Zubereitung

Reis in Salzwasser wie gewohnt kochen
Zuckerschoten, die enden abschneiden und teilen
Diese dann ca 5 min in etwas Salzwasser kochen

Fleisch in kleine Stücke schneiden
Ingwer und Knoblauch schälen und in kleine Stückchen schneiden
Das Fleisch nun mit dem Knoblauch/Ingwer, Zitronensaft und Sojasauce würzen, kurz stehen lassen

Öl im Topf erhitzen
Hähnchenfleisch anbraten, Paprika zugeben und mitbraten
Dann wenn das Hähnchenfleisch gar ist, den Reis und die Zuckerschoten zugeben
Mit Pfeffer und Koriander abschmecken

I made:
• homemade zucchini meatballs with spinach spaghetti and fresh tomato sauce
• garlic lemon salmon with roasted sweet potato and zucchini (I'm a vegetarian so giving this to family)
• mixed green salad with @amyskitchen veggie burger, tomato, crushed cashew, and goat cheese
& snacks:
• fresh picked strawberries and organic raspberries
• 1/4 cup organic almonds
• chocolate sea salt and peanut butter @rxbar 
all organic, fresh, perfectly measured delicious food.

The kitchen is my happy place. I woke up bright and early yesterday ready to tackle the day. After working a bit I thought, who says you can't meal prep at 6 am? All done by 8 and I didn't know what to do with myself! ☀️

This week is filled with all the greens. Combinations of zuchinni and yellow squash, broccoli, brussels, cucumbers, green beans, and celery. Likely to be topped over a bed of arugula. 🥗

Proteins include hard boiled eggs, homemade Whole30 Chicken Salad, blackened wild caught cod, @_prebrands hamburgers, and @aidellssausage Chicken Apple Sausages! 🤤

Mein für heute geplantes Homeworkout habe ich auch bereits erledigt💪🏋️‍♀️ jetzt werde ich mir erst einmal in Ruhe was zum Essen machen und den Abend entspannt ausklingen lassen😊
Wo wir schon beim Essen sind: auf dem Bild zeige ich euch mein Mealprep für die Woche🥘👩‍🍳 heute gab es einen gemischten Salat 🥗 , in den nächsten Tagen werde ich mir wieder Sandwiches aus selbstgebackenen Brötchen machen🍞🧀🥒 und als weiteres (improvisiertes) Gericht wird es Rührei mit Zucchini und einer selbstgemachten Feta-Quarkcreme geben. 🍳🥒🧀 improvisiert deshalb, weil ich wieder mal mein volles Talent bewiesen habe und das andere Gericht habe anbrennen lassen😅👍 ich würde mal sagen das gibt 10 Gummipunkte in Sachen Doofheit😁😁
