A new study by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) provides a timely reminder to us all as to why vaccinations are so vital. Since the turn of the millennium, 20.4 million lives have been saved thanks to the measles vaccine alone.
In 2000, just over 500,000 people died from measles, an easily preventable disease. In 2016, that number was cut down to 90,000. This is almost entirely down to a global eradication program spearheaded by the World Health Organization (WHO), something the CDC was keen to point out.
Every year, 2 to 3 million lives are saved thanks to vaccines. Another estimate suggests that 122 million children’s lives have been saved since 1990. They’re nothing less than acts of scientific salvation.
There's a substantial decline in global #measles deaths, but the disease still kills 90,000 people per year.
We have seen a substantial drop for over 2 decades, but now we must strive to reach zero cases. Measles elimination will only be reached if measles vaccines reach every child, everywhere. #VaccinesWork !

A common #provax /sheep comment on social media: "I would rather have an autistic child than a dead child". What in the actual f...? (I'd rather have neither so just keep the poisonous needles away.) #Measles does not equal death.
#Chickenpox does not equal death.
#Whoopingcough does not equal death.
The #flu does not equal death.
We have arrived into work this morning and Jonny has Measles !!! 🤒😷 Currently there is a Measles outbreak and families are being encouraged to check that they, their children and teenagers have had two doses of MMR vaccine, which protects against measles, mumps, and rubella.
If you are worried and unsure if you have had this vaccine then the staff at the parallel can check and if needed give you the vaccine at one of our drop in clinics for free.
Because measles is so infectious, anyone with symptoms is also being advised to stay at home and phone their GP or NHS 111 for advice in the first instance to prevent the illness spreading further.
Advice can also be found on the NHS Choices website www.nhs.uk
Measles outbreak in parts of the UK, Birmingham, Surrey, Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds. If you or your child have not received 2 doses then please contact your GP or Travel Klinix on 02476 016519, travelklinix.com
♻️ @the_boycott_movement Scientific evidence demonstrates that individuals vaccinated with live virus vaccines such as #MMR (measles, mumps and rubella), rotavirus, chicken pox, shingles and influenza can shed the virus for many weeks or months afterwards and infect the vaccinated and unvaccinated alike
Furthermore, vaccine recipients can carry #diseases in the back of their throat and infect others while displaying no symptoms of a disease. Numerous scientific studies indicate that children who receive a #livevirus vaccination can shed the disease and infect others for weeks or even months afterwards. Thus, parents who vaccinate their children can indeed put others at risk
Both unvaccinated and vaccinated individuals are at risk from exposure to those recently vaccinated. Vaccine failure is widespread; vaccine-induced immunity is not permanent and recent outbreaks of diseases such as #whoopingcough , #mumps and #measles have occurred in #fullyvaccinated populations. #Fluvaccine recipients become more susceptible to future infection after repeated vaccination
Should health officials require a two-week #quarantine of all children and adults who receive vaccinations? This is the minimum amount of time required to prevent transmission of infectious diseases to the rest of the population, including individuals who have been previously vaccinated
Vaccine failure and failure to acknowledge that live virus vaccines can spread disease have resulted in an increase in outbreaks of infectious disease in both vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals. #CDC should instruct physicians who administer vaccinations to inform their patients about the risks posed to others by those who’ve been recently vaccinated
According to the Weston A. Price Foundation, the best protection against infectious disease is a healthy immune system, supported by adequate vitamin A and vitamin C. Well-nourished #children easily recover from infectious disease and rarely suffer complications
@Regranned from @theaulaniproject - Many popular television shows of old routinely joked about #measles as if it were nothing. The Brady Bunch, The Flintstones, and The Donna Reed Show all aired episodes involving measles #outbreaks that were treated lightly with slapstick laughter and comedy. Compare this to the mass hysteria today and you'll see that the measles scare is a #propaganda ploy to push more #vaccines and #mandates . Why? Because they are profitable... pharmaceutical companies make billions off of vaccines every year, politicians get paid off by pharma, and 70% of the media is funded by pharmaceutical companies... everyone wins! Except you... The media is a brainwashing tool, plain and simple. This is why I don't have cable. - #regrann#vaccines#vaxxed#flyhighnicholas ✈️💙 #Revolutionhasbegun#Cityovgods

The measles is a highly infectious respiratory disease caused by a virus. It produces a cutaneous eruption that affects the whole body and produces symptoms similar to the flu.
Measles is one of the leading causes of death among young children globally, despite the availability of a safe and effective vaccine.
