Organising few things for myself and looking after me for a change.
Boxing 🥊 class for an hour, telephone number work out 🏋️, love this concept.
Small  half and hour walk managed.
All evening running around the shops with kids, would like have more or less free w/ends for myself.

#healthybreakfast - wholemeal mixed grains cereals with chia seeds sweetened by honey 🍯 plus fresh berries.

#healthylunch -  Grilled pressed sandwich from wholemeal rye German bread, avocado 🥑, chicken roll left overs and baby spinach and rocket leaves. Salad left overs with yogurt and mustard dressing. 
Afternoon tea - Long black, Baked oats banana, kiwi 🥝 and ricotta bake. Carob bear bar, few walnuts and few macadamia nuts and golden berries. 
#healthydinner - Dinning out, Seafood Noodle Laksa Soup, left mostly all noodles out. However had some Roti Bread with Satay Sauce.  More sugarless dark chocolate 🍫 🙀

Ended day with mint tea and vanilla flavoured natural yogurt.

Driving around in the car most of the day, not much physical activity. Don’t really like days like today, but sometimes it is impossible to fit everything you want into one day.
Still managed half and hour walk.

#healthybreakfast - overnight Oates with added extra oat bran, chai seeds, mango and lychees.

#healthylunch - Had lovely lunch with my husband today, eating out as has no time me to get home to cook for myself.
Great combo salad 🥗 (quinoa, beetroot and orange beetroot, radishes, fresh baby spinach and rocket leaves, apple, pomegranate, seeds, micro herbs and honey mustard dressing. Ordered extra poached egg to go with it. 
Long back with bit of skim milk.

Afternoon tea - Few slices of cucumber and carrot and half of a slice Lo-Gi, high fibre loaf.

#healthydinner - Finishing yesterdays - Chicken breast roll (was cutting it to hot, broken it into pieces), filling (spinach, rocket, garlic, ricotta, mozzarella, basil pesto, mustard, thyme and secret ingredient crushed papaya seeds).
Salad added extra white radish 🥗 (red cabbage, bok choy, watermelon radishes, red sweet paprika, carrot, char corn, celery, spring onions, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pepitas and dry cranberries , spiced plumb vinegar and avocado oil, added parsley and mint for extra flavour.

Ended day with mint tea and vanilla flavoured natural yogurt with strawberries 🍓 .

Both dark leafy vegetables and meat are good sources of iron. However the iron on meat is far more easily absorbed leaving vegetarians and vegans susceptible to iron deficiency disorders such as anaemia. There are plenty of ways to avoid this - here is one simple trick to help.
~
‼️TIP:‼️ "Blanche" your dark veggies by dipping them in boiling water for 10-15secs before either steaming or microwaving them to cook fully.
~ 
Blanching increases iron absorption of your veggies whilst steaming and microwaving retains nutrient quantity more effectively than boiling.

#healthylunch - Today it Was pretty much my yesterday dinner, added a bit of brown rice flour and cauliflower, ricotta and beetroot leaves hotcakes , served with iceberg, watermelon radishes, cucumber, tomato, capsicum, avocado salad with same dressing and herbs as yesterday. Had three of them, the rest for may be tmr. Green tea and half of chocolate from yesterday fair.

Afternoon tea - Ricotta bake with apple, rhubarb and cinnamon. Low fat and carb, no sugar added.

Nori seeds snaps with Maple syrup

Ended day with green berries tea and vanilla flavoured natural yogurt and half kiwi and  strawberries .

Was juggling my decision today take it to the PUMP class or not. Still a bit shaky, I did go and it was difficult to push myself. However I made it all the way through with few little stops. Lovely day to be out and around left all the things home and went to enjoy Main st Festival Mornington. What a great event!!! I was naughty and packed myself healthy lunch sandwich, but couldn't resist lovely organic dark chocolate hazelnut praline, just to busy around the house to make them for myself. Well Spring has certainly sprung in Melbourne and hay fever season is now in full effect. 
Some tips to prevent the dreaded hay fever include: 🌱Making sure you get enough sleep and rest - approximately 8 hours a night is ideal to ensure your immune system is able to work effectively
🌱Consuming a kiwi fruit daily - kiwi fruit contains high levels of Vitamin C (the yellow varieties are even higher!) which is a natural antihistamine and anti-inflammatory which supports healthy immune function. Kiwis also contain bioflavonoids and antioxidants that complement the Vitamin C effect in the body. 🌱Pineapple contains bromelian which is an enzyme that has strong anti-inflammatory effects which assists to decrease mucosal inflammation and congestion.

I’m so excited to be able to share this with you.
Earlier this year I was interviewed by @thezenithnetwork about the journey I’ve been through to become comfortable in my skin.
If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ll know this is an ongoing journey for me, and that for everyone struggling with body image and a complicated relationship to food, it’s much deeper than it appears.
My hope is that this can help raise awareness and let you know you’re not alone.
If this speak to you, reach out to someone in your life. They don’t have to be the ‘right’ person in the beginning, it takes time, but you need to reach out 💛

I was asked the question 'what's your favourite self-love go-to ?' .

The more and more I think of it, my favourite way to show my body how much I care and love it, is to feed my body nourishing foods 🍐🍊🍇🍌🥒🍆

The body will naturally heal itself given half a chance. So feed your body the tools it needs!
Nourishment can be in the form of food, movement, mindfulness - the list is endless ❤️

Listen to your body, it will tell you the self-love it needs. 🏃🏼‍♀️💋💆🏼👯👙🍃☀️🥑🥝🍟🌮🎬🚗
Never ever stop loving yourself... who else will? Be your own knight in shinning armour!
