It was important for both @adventuresofageologist and I to drive through the Australian memorials from WW1 during our roadtrip back to Paris from Belgium. Such a humbling experience of which I learnt so much. It was something I’ll never forget.
Rest In Peace.
I WANT YOU! Now recruiting folks who have the heart ❤️ to help during my Journey to visit #KoreanWar#Veterans & #Memorials around the country (USA). 🇺🇸 Looking for people to assist with planning my itinerary, 🗺 coordinating logistics, banking/funds transfers, website, community/veterans outreach, etc — Everything can be done via online since I’ll be on the road anyways. 😉
The first time (around the world) was largely a lonely endeavor with support on the ground. But this time I’d love a team effort...to help OUR Grandpas. 💗
Don’t be shy! Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or message me. Thanks in advance. Xoxo
Addendum: Coincidentally 😯 I was just informed that Mrs Naomi Parker Fraley, the Real Rosie the Riveter, died on Sat. via a @nytimes article published today. #RIP
To me there's something very cosmic about this piece, made with the ashes of a client's loved one. I think turning pain and sadness into beauty is one of the great blessings of art. Message me if you'd like something similar
