"The sky is not my limit...I am."
~ T.F. Hodge
Feeling grateful to realise this after a day with special family and friends yesterday, reminding me it's ok to do what I feel I need to; I have to.

Full planche is now a possibility on the flat. This is my max capacity for the moment but it doesn't feel like all that long ago and my straddle planche was at a similiar hold time. Millimeter by millisecond we'll get there folks! Havnt trained handstand pushups for a while but glad to see they stay with me too. Rainy old day here so a little Saturday afternoon training session under the house has been ideal. Now for a glass of red! 😊
Words can't express my gratitude for reaching 3,000 followers. Thank you all so much for joining me for my yoga journey each day. I hope my journey can continue to uplift and bring inspiration to everyone ♡ Namaste

STREET MOTIVATION 🛣 #22 VISION 👀
It's so important to have a vision I like to say we are an arrow and if we don't have a target better yet a target that is in line with our heart we will never hit that target. 🎯
About 4 years ago I decided to commit to reading/listening to at least 30 minutes a day of personal development. Any topic, it didn’t matter as long as it contributed to my learning and growth. The first couple of books were by Jim Rohn. Of the many amazing things I’ve learned from him one of my favorites is “For thing to change you have to change. For things to get better you have to get better.”
I didn’t have any expectations for this new habit, I was just enjoying everything I was learning. And what I was learning was totally challenging all of my habits, beliefs, perspectives...and it was amazing!
Fast forward to now and I’m about to embark on a trip for 3 weeks across Europe where I get to teach colleagues about career development, personal development, resiliency, high performing teams, owning your story, coaching, feedback and facilitation skills. As I worked to build out these courses with other brilliant and talented colleagues, I can easily say that 90% of what I am sharing has come from something I’ve read over these past 4 years. Now I am so excited to connect with more people around this amazing content!
I think back and am so grateful I decided to change, to become better, to commit to a daily habit that has completely changed my life, my relationships, my career, my willingness to start my yoga journey, and has even influenced the way I raise #NoraDoreen
So if you’re not completely happy where you are I challenge you to look in the mirror first and commit to changing something in your life. It can be reading, audiobooks, exercising, eating right, meditation, or spending more time with your loved ones. Whatever you choose, commit to it. You may not see results right away but as long as your trust the process and have faith that it is carrying you towards something greater you can realize and achieve the most amazing things in life.
May we all live the most extraordinary lives we can possibly imagine!
Day 14 of #sofayoga ! It’s always a challenge taking these on timer, you have like 10 secs to run into place and then try get into the pose 😂😂. Who else has to do this numerous times to get in position in time?! 😳😂🤣
I see blogs questioning how someone can be spiritual and use ‘bad language’ at the same time. #wtf The way I see it, spirituality has nothing to with the way you talk. Spirituality is about universal love, oneness and conscious awareness. Whatever makes you feel strong and emotionally stable is your business. If a word (like #unfuckwithable ) evokes that feeling inside you, go for it. When your mind is clear and your energy is clean, you feel like nothing can disturb you. That feeling of zen leads to stability. Stability leads to confidence. Confidence leads to feeling powerful. And when you feel powerful, ya, you are un-fuck-with-able. #sayit#meanit
"These mountains that you are carrying, you were only supposed to climb."
- Najwa Zebian, poet.
I'm not one for photos'n'quotes but sometimes you read something that really grabs you. I think this author's talent is how she can make you feel like she's speaking directly to you, but with the understanding that you know you are one amongst many.
Let's see if I can do it... "The weekend that is about to start, you should enjoy it, with good people." Eh.
So three days ago I wanted to recalibrate my approach and work on my stamina in getting a solid handstand but I realised that I suddenly couldn't hold a handstand more than 3 seconds and honestly it was kindof scary. I still couldnt today but I went out with my friend and we ate some sinful food and we had vietnamese coffee full of friggin whipped cream and I realised life is still awesome because I cant eat asanas but I can eat banana splits. ☻
Twinning with @markbendy here. 🙉
🚨Adversity, some of us complain when it hits. But I want to remind you adversity is helping you show who you really are. No growth happens in our comfort zone, growth and wisdom only come from pushing past adversity. So just remember stay strong everyone, a skilled sailor was never made from a smooth sea 🤔‼️
This is a great drill I learned from the wonderful people at @gymnasticbodies
SO MUCH great stuff in terms of active flexibility and muscular engagement to create mobility
Obviously my middle split leaves a LOT to be desired but when I first started working this drill I couldn't lift myself up to overcome the lack of a middle split and start the movement...
There's a lot hidden in there that this movement helps unlock and develop. Bent arm strength, straight arm scapular strength, wrist flexibility / grip engagement, mula bandha check-ups / core lifting
There's a lot more going on than meets the eye 😉👍
"Facing death," its not a topic we often discuss or even dare to think about but what if we altered the perception of it...that death is an opportunity to experience a luminous state between being awake and sleep...that it is a blissful state to be in...this is how a "mediator of death," views it.
We will ask ourselves at our deathbed what life was about? Was it the money, the power or the achievements we made? Or is it the state we left the world in , the compassion we showed to those that needed our help or bring a life into this world to further propel progression.
Whether you believe in heaven, reincarnation or death..doesn't it bring a new meaning to life if we face death?
