Good afternoon! Are you facing roofing problems on your #CommercialBuilding and wonder what to do? Here is a complete list of common #roofing issues:
1- #LeakingRoof Problems
If you suspect you have a leaky roof, it’s important to act fast. One of the first signs of a leaky roof is a water stain, maybe in a ceiling or an exterior wall.
A roofing contractor will help you find the source of the problem and fix it. As a preventive measure, you may want to have your roof examined once a year.
2-Roof Flashing Problems
Faulty roof flashing can be another reason why your roof is leaking and should be repaired promptly. Roof flashing is a weatherproof barrier between the different joints in the roof.
Usually a patching material you can pick up at your local hardware store can fix the issue.
3-Roof Ventilation Problems
Proper roof ventilation is needed in any climate for overall temperature control This can cause issues for the roof as the weather changes.
There are many roofing vents available that function differently. Contact your #contractor for the right solution for each building.
4-Roof Material Deterioration
Weathering will eventually have their effect on your roof. Wetter and sunnier climates can expect the material to deteriorate at a faster rate.
Don't wait until it starts to deteriorate, pro-active work is recommended.
5- Improper repairs and maintenance
Always do your research before hiring a contractor: "When a commercial roof is improperly installed or not regularly maintained, it is susceptible to billowing, blow-offs, wind uplift, and other types of severe roof damage." The storm has passed, the dust is settling. We were spared greatly from #hurricaneirma and Miami was left relatively untouched. The inconveniences that we may continue to face over the next few weeks pale in comparison to our neighbors in the Keys and the Islands. We are proud to team up with @prestigegc_ and head South this week to bring a little help to @thefloridakeys • #giveback#kisogroup#prestigegc#rebuild#keysstrong 📸 @westraycphotography
◾️◾️◾️CARGOTECTURE◾️◾️◾️ This NDSM container housing project in northern #amsterdam is run by DUWO. They are temporary rentals expected to run until around 2020. Making room for a permanent development 🔜🏗|| •Shipping container construction has grown very popular over the past years, mostly because of the low expenses and eco-friendly advantages. With Miami's current construction overflow, this architectural building method would be perfect for someone looking to sit on their land, receiving rental profit while the real estate keeps increasing in value 💎 You can see more of the benefits of building with containers and some ideas for this kind of construction in the link above ⬆️ ....and of course if you are looking for the land, you know where to find me 😉 #miamirealestate#portfolio#investmentproperty
Many people here in South Florida will be performing home repairs in the wake of Irma. If you plan on making the repairs yourself please get educated on the best building practices and always abide by state and city building codes. Many skimp because of cost but the reality is it ends up costing you a lot more when you have to do it again. This fence was built last summer. It took Irma head on and didn't budge an inch or lose a single picket. Most fences in the area are missing sections or completely destroyed.
We hope you and your families are safe following Hurricane Irma. We are grateful she spared us but know that she did leave a path of destruction in her wake. If you were impacted by the storm and find yourself in need of construction services for your home or business, Raidan Development is ready and able to help.
