There are few times in my life I was really blown away with an experience. Last night was certainly it. Dinner at DiverXO in Madrid was really something special and I can say lifechanging. I was at quite a few michelin starred restaurants but Dabiz and his crew are on completely another level in every possible way. Service is unorthodox, plating, ingredients, interior, everything about this place screams “playground”. From the moment we set foot in until we left this temple of food everything was orchestrated and paced very good. We opted for “El Xef y So Loca Bacanal” menu with 32 courses or servings of fucking deliciousness and awesomness. In 3.5 hours we were taken throughout the world of flavors, textures, colors, smells, surprises...
Nothing I have tasted comes even close.

Booked another lunch here in Tokyo and just like Tuesday had no idea it actually has a Michelin star until we arrived. 😁 Should be no surprise, as Tokyo holds the world record for most Michelin restaurants in a single city (227 to be precise at time of writing). Signature is located in the Mandarin Oriental hotel and offers amazing views over Tokyo! 😍
As we were planning this trip to Europe we jokingly started referring to it as our honeymoon. We started dating 13 years ago, got married almost 10 years ago, and truth be told, we never went on a honeymoon. We actually never even had a wedding. On one Tuesday afternoon in college, I threw on a white dress that was the only white dress in my closet, skipped class, and headed to the court house to get married. We never regretted it back then and we were too broke and too eager to start working to go on a honeymoon. Well, here we are 13 years later, planning a road trip from Barcelona to Toulouse, visiting three Michelin starred restaurants on the way. We realized that this is exactly the kind of trip we WOULD take as a honeymoon and thus calling it that. Now here we are at Auberge du Vieux Puits, round number two of our Michelin star restaurant tour. We've spent the afternoon driving through the most charming and idyllic french villages and it's felt like something out of a movie. I feel so lucky to be here, so lucky to have this amazing man by my side, who has been with me thru thick and thin, for 13 years, and hopefully many more ❤️ Happy Anniversary @idaddy33
