We got seaweed paper, dried shiitake, king oyster mushrooms, fridge tofu balls, frozen tofu, spiced tofu, dumpling wrappers and not pictured is a sushi Mat, sushi rice and a cute bowl! All of this just $30!
Shop your local ethnic markets for not only amazing deals but also good advice... When you're not bilingual and don't know what most of anything is! The people at the store were amazing at telling me if something had animal products in them or not and what things would go well with my meals ❤️ And before anyone mentions it. Yes yes I know it's not great to eat so much sushi but this isn't all for this week. Hell not even the next couple weeks.
Norman was rescued from cockfighting in Colorado and lived the rest of his life at the loving @sanctuarymoonmi. He has passed away since this photo was taken, but he still remains as one of the most beautiful chickens I have encountered ❤️
@detroitstreetfillingstation did NOT disappoint when I went back to MI for the holidays. These are the Shiitake potstickers, but we also enjoyed jackfruit tacos, fried Mac n cheese, + chili cheese tots 😍
When I first started this company I would get a lot of comments and messages from people being extremely critical of my products and their ingredient list. I was never certain why folks were so focused on doing 21 questions with me when I knew for certain they never asked these questions of the store bought products; they just purchased and carried on with their lives. As time went on I started to realize why I was being held to such a high standard: 1. I was new and new scares people. 2. I was easy to contact so there was nothing stopping them from asking questions. 3. They were on the journey of self enhancement and had finally realized they needed to know more about what they were adding to their chemical makeup. So now I understand and enjoy even more the time I spend chatting with everyone because now I know I am truly opening eyes to a new way of living. Thank you all for following me thus far - I'll continue to do my best to learn and grow along with you all.

little post workout meal I threw together from this morning: baby kale, butternut squash noodles, sweet peas, black beans, cucumber, sunflower seeds, avocado, and lemon.
I think the secret to an amazing salad is texture and variety. No one likes a salad with mostly lettuce and a few cucumbers 😝
I love when there is an equal amount of each vegetable.

This beautiful creation contains baked tofu, fermented sour kraut, fresh beets, lentils, parsley, cucumbers, peas, and baby carrots, on a lovely bed of spinach. On top I put lemon juice 😍 weighing out to exactly 1 pound. Can anyone guess how much it was?

Had this breakfast last week and it hit the spot. Oatmeal + apples + pumpkin + cacao nibs = deliciousness 😛😛 it was so so good!! Anyways, I’m back at school now. I came back on Tuesday and I already miss my kitchen lol. I guess this just makes me appreciate it even more when I am home. Also, I have to tell you guys about this amazing party I went to yesterday. So for the past couple of months I’ve been volunteering at @sashafarm every week, and yesterday, there was a party for all the volunteers. I honestly had such a good time. There was thirty plus people there (all vegan), and it was such a cool experience to be in a room filled with so many like-minded, compassionate people. In addition, it was a potluck and white elephant gift party. And I kid you not, some of the food I had yesterday was some of the best food I’ve ever had. I’ve never been to a vegan potluck like that before and I literally ate SO MUCH FOOD. It was worth it tho 🙈 sometimes as a vegan, I tend a little isolated from others, but by being surrounded by so many other vegans yesterday, I felt as though we were just one big family. The vegan community is truly so accepting and loving of everyone, and it amazes me how many positive impacts veganism has had on my life already. I can’t wait to see where else it takes me, and how many other amazing people I will meet along the way. Know that you guys are not alone. There are vegans almost everywhere, and we are continually growing. Talk to other other vegans, spread the message, start or join a vegan group at your school, or volunteer at an animal sanctuary/shelter, you will not regret it 😉
