Spent the morning reflecting on this past year, and it's mind boggling how much in my life has transformed for the better in one year's time. Feeling incredibly grateful for all that has manifested, personally, professionally, and intrinsically. Looking forward to kicking off this new year - and all it has to offer - with a big family dinner. No better way to celebrate 💕
I know that your mouth is watering. Right. About. Now. I just love cake pops! They are super cute and very convenient, I might add. These cake pops were set up on a tiered rustic wood display that made them look just as beautiful as they did delicious. The creative team gets an “A” for presentation, all day long!
So, I think I need to reexamine my heart. I need to stop being so pessimistic! I'm going to really try to be more thankful, even for the little things! Today I'm thankful for sunshine, for friends that truly listen & cheer for you, for slippers, for Ainsley's giggles, and lattes. What are you thankful for today?
There's this quote on my website that reads: "The JB Bride believes 'he was Christmas morning, crimson fireworks and birthday wishes,'" and it is so fitting that Ashley found and chose me to document her and Max becoming husband and wife because Max actually proposed to Ashley at her family Christmas party!! Even more amazing, the ring he slid on her finger when she said YES is a family heirloom passed down from Ashley's great aunt. I love that there is history there and that the ring has been in her family for decades (and just wait until you see the ring 😍)! Ashley is a JB bride through and through and I can't wait to head back down to Cleveland next April to photograph their wedding and give them another family heirloom to pass down to future generations! #jenniferborisphotography
Sometimes when I take images and I just know it's going to be pretty amazing I might squeal a little! Lol pretty sure my clients and vendors will agree! I mean she is stunning and when I received this film scan it was so excited to see it come to life!
To live by grace means to acknowledge my whole life story, the light side and the dark. In admitting my shadow side, I learn who I am and what God's grace means. As Thomas Merton put it "A saint is not someone who is good but who experiences the goodness of God." | The Ragamuffin Gospel
It's been a super low key night tonight...the hubs is traveling for work, so it's me and the kids(kids=cats)! I'm finally in a room with trim and vents! The little things are glorious, aren't they?! Oh, ps...isn't everything in this picture just 😍?!
This past weekend, G & D had a fairytale wedding at @cornmanfarms. It was an honor to be part of such a special day - more photos to come of all their paper goods, but in the meantime, here's a photo that Ana of @twofootcreative snapped onsite of their seating chart.
