Healed Daith piercing I did a while ago! The reason I like this piercing so much is because she went to multiple other shops (including my own before I started piercing again) and they all told her it couldn't be done, that it wouldn't heal, that her ear was too small!! Gotta know the rules so you know when to break them Son! #healed#daith#anatometal#puremichigan#midwest#safepiercing#anodized
Lately I have been trying so hard to find beauty and joy in the now. It's so easy to live your life planning for and anticipating the future. In doing so though we're missing out on so much joy and life lived in the present now. God is working on our future and the life ahead. It's about time we let go of the reins and give it all up to Him, focus our mind and our hearts fully on Him. In constantly worrying and setting up our lives around our idea of the future are we not letting Him know we have absolutely no faith in His great plan? He will provide peace and assurance. He is the ultimate author of our lives and listens when we speak. He knows the desires of our hearts. He knows us better than anyone. He loves us and He will provide. In turn we have to trust and know that the path He is leading us toward is a perfect one. Whenever life begins to feel overwhelming and the future seems that much farther away remember who holds the key. Find joy in the present, peace in the now, and faith in His great plan.
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11)
My first bluegill in quite a few years.. it brings back memories of catching these as a kid -- of family vacations, or weekend afternoons at the nearest park, and of the family and friends of my youth. I can't help but feel nostalgic. It's nice to be back on the #midwest 😎
This set of buildings on State Avenue in Cincinnati's Lower Price Hill neighborhood is made up of a unique set of structures. The red building in the center is a false-fronted Italianate-style rowhouse, with tightly spaced windows and an ornate cornice on the front parapet, as well as an historic stone wall in the front of the yard along the sidewalk, but does appear to be suffering from some neglect, judging by the condition of the porch on the left hand side, the missing part of the cornice, and the bent aluminum awnings. To the left is a late 19th Century Second Empire-style structure that was unfortunately clad in Vinyl siding years ago, which may be a brick structure, and also includes a large annex that was likely built as a storefront in the early 20th Century, which is currently for sale, and hopefully will be bought by someone who will put proper effort and care into renovating the building. On the right hand side is an early 20th Century storefront, built of masonry and painted yellow, which has an odd stone structure attached to the rear that has a doorway onto the public steps that connect State Avenue and Warsaw Avenue, which doesn't appear to be used at present. Hopefully, this set of buildings is preserved, and gets the attention they need, rather than being lost, as they have unique features and are important pieces of the urban fabric on the west side of State Avenue in the center of the neighborhood. Each day I’m adapting to cope with the things I can’t control. With this in mind, I’m learning more about myself I ever thought possible. Reminding myself to stay in the NOW Is important to keep me moving forward each day. 🍁🍁🍁 plus these #colors though😍😍 #fallishere#capturemn#explore
