As an empath \\ healer \\ lightworker I am extremely sensitive to energies. I have always been very self-aware. I can feel shifts of energy in all kinds of ways.

Experiencing someone else's emotions
Heaviness from t.v. or crowds
Sometimes even a shift when someone I know is thinking of me.
All of our energies are always intermingling whether we're aware of it or not so it's important to cleanse and clear what is not yours.
Every location on Earth holds all the memories of everything that's ever happened there, which is how places can become haunted. That physical location continues to carry the energies from another time. So no matter where you are, whether you're around people or not, it's important to clear yourself.
I just put up a blog post listing my favourite ways to clear my own energy.
I also talk a bit about my own meditation practice and offer some tips to those who have just started or are thinking of starting up a practice.

You never know where life takes you! I have spent much of this week running workshops to help inspire and motivate others for success and purpose and I can't get enough of it! I've landed back in my Nest!
What an enjoyable, intensive, inspiring, reassuring, mind expanding and sometimes physically challenging week away it was.
We journeyed through the elements, we slept under trees and the stars in the bush 🌳, we hiked up (and down) mountains in the rain ☔️ and got completely drenched, we slept, did Sadhana and sang the Aquarian Mantras in front of the fire 🔥 , we even did 22mins of Sat Kriya 💧more than waist deep in the (cold) river at sunset 🌅 .
What a way to get back into Nature 🌿 An even more incredible way to conclude Level One Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training 👳🏻♀️. I'm deeply touched by our teacher trainers Sat Mukh and Sat Sarbat, for offering such a dynamic, experiential, exploratory and all-rounded soul reshaping experience. You've really taken us to new heights in returning to our nature, to transform from within, to refine our direction and to remember who we really are inside. Not just through the teachings, kriya's and meditations, but also for inviting us all to dive deep into our own reservoir of resilience, sense of trust, and source of inner-strength outside the box on so many levels. As one, and as a collective.
Like sugarcane that has to be chopped, squeezed, hacked into, and flattened in order to access the sweet juice within, I may be a little raw and tender from the whole experience, but having tasted only the beginnings of this sweetness, it is without a shadow of a doubt that I am ever motivated, inspired and committed to maintaining this depth of self awareness, this soft vulnerability and this clarity in vision, so I can be as steady and stable a vessel to carry on the teachings, to live my life's purpose and most of all to serve in humility, courage and grace.

The Lab Sofa Challenge with the amazing @cyogalab ✨❤️✨ Day 18: Eka Pada sirsasana (leg behind head) you can use the sofa for regular pigeon or seated pigeon to open ur hips/no need to push ur leg behind head and definitely do not attempt using force, wrapping your legs behind head if you don’t wnat injuries; if you do have regular advanced practice n you can comfortably bring both legs behind head, make sure you alternate the leg that you pull down first to bring balance balance balance 🙏❤️🙏
I read a quote today... “If it doesn’t open, it’s not your door”. At first I agreed with it but then I began to think about how timing plays a huge part in your life. Doors may not open exactly when you want them to but it shouldn’t mean they aren’t yours to eventually walk through. 10 years ago, I never would’ve been able to walk through the door to the path I am on now. If you want something bad enough, you have to make it yours with patience and hard work. So I’m changing this quote to... “If it doesn’t open, it’s not your door YET”.

You have to treat yourself right. You have to exercise. You have to establish a hygiene and skin care routine. You have to get your mind right. You have to establish your identity. Today was another double day for me at the gym. I hit a high intensity Strongman style workout medley consisting of:
200meter Heavy Farmers Carry (90lbs each)
300foot Heavy Sled drag (250lbs)
20 Axle Power Snatches (95)
50foot Yoke Carry (275)
Rest 2 minutes
Then do it in reverse order. (Next time the snatches go 135 and the Yoke goes to 315+) My second training session was:
5x8 Speed Back Squats (33%, reps as fast as possible)
3x8 Speed Front Squats (33%, reps as fast as possible)
10x2 Seated Plyo-box jumps (30"+, I worked up to 47.5" as seen in the video)
Immediately after the workout I take 1STPHORM Ignition mixed with Phormula1 Natural Vanilla Protein. About 30-40 minutes later I crush a full solid food meal.
I do this because after an intense workout my body is depleted of glycogen and the aminos that my muscles need to grow stronger. To truly see the most benefit from your training you should be taking something like this immediately post-workout. You see the "ignition" product is a very high glycemic simple carb that will spike your insulin levels; this primes the body to consume the fast digesting "Phormula 1" whey protein isolate as fast as possible. The process takes the body from the catabolic (muscles breaking down) state from the training and puts it back into an anabolic (muscle building) state. The combo of post workout supplementation plus real food 30-40 minutes after training has me gaining muscle and therefore losing bodyfat again for the first time in a while. My day was wide open today and I had planned to do work. But my body (or perhaps my spirit) had other plans. After my usual morning routine, I sat down at the computer, and my body literally threw a fit. My shoulders got tense, my heart was racing, and my mind was cluttered with thoughts. I could have simply recognized it as "anxiety," dismissed it, and forged ahead cuz "I had to get things done" (thought #1 ) and cuz "I gotta use my free time 'productively'" (thought #2 ) OR I could choose to see my body as a valuable source of information and learn to LISTEN to it.
I regularly sit with clients in moderate levels of distress who say things like: "Everyone is on medication. Maybe I should just get on it too. Then maybe I could be more productive, more focused, more like everyone else." So, I translate this as (a) it's important to conform and (b) no matter the cost, including silencing the cries of our own internal communication system.
This conversation can be somewhat layered, I know. But at the moment I'm keeping it simple, remembering what Indian philosopher Jiddhu Krishnamurti said: "It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society." And on the flip side, if we feel "off" there's likely a good reason for it.
Seeking true wellness in a society that doesn't support it hasn't been easy, not for me or many others I know. It's counter culture. It often feels like swimming upstream. Yet, I honestly believe it's the only way I've managed to keep my spirit alive.
My body (and spirit) speak to me pretty loudly. I haven't always chosen to listen but I'm learning. And the more I tune in, the more I understand MY needs, my deepest longings, which may or may not align with what's culturally desirable or acceptable. For instance, today I didn't NEED to do work. It was my day off, which my body reminded me. What I NEEDED was to roll around on my yoga mat and feel some stuff, take photos, + spend hours on video chats with soul-sisters. The moment I let go of what I "should" have been doing, the feelings of anxiety subsided. Next time you feel discomfort I wonder if you might simply ask that part of you: "what are you wanting for me?" 😊

Size is the only difference. The laws and principles are the same.
Atoms and electrons are miniature stars and planets, and stars and planets are giant atoms and electrons. There is no difference except in size. The movements and revolutions are the same. The orbits are the same. The laws of magnetic attraction and repulsion are the same.
Modern scientists want to keep the laws of atomic structure to themselves by cloaking it in a mystery. When I look up in the sky, I see the very same atoms they see in their electron microscopes.
Creator put the stars out there for all to see who cannot afford the million dollar research microscopes, because the stars are what the atoms look like in miniature scale.

My chia seed drink! Most days I add a tablespoon of chia seeds to a glass of water and let it sit for about 20mins before drinking. You can make it more fancy by adding lime and other things but I keep it simple. Did you know that a serving of chia seeds: 🏃♀️are gluten/grain free 🏃♀️have more Omega 3’s than a serving of walnuts 🏃♀️ have as many antioxidants as blueberries 🏃♀️give you heaps of energy 🏃♀️supports digestion 🏃♀️contain fibre, protein, magnesium, copper, iron, and zinc among many other nutrients 🏃♀️are naturally filling so ideal for weight loss. I’ve recently increased my training, so I’m taking chia seeds to assist with hydration, energy and endurance. You can add chia seeds to almost any recipe, but this is my favourite way. Be warned that chia seeds can get stuck in your teeth!! #fitness#healthy#chiaseeds
