More rocky terrain, but this time I started with black, just for the base, then swapped filament for the translucent green just as the printer was going to start building up the rocks. Looks sort of like tiberium, kryptonite, warpstone, Necron crystals, or a green version of the mineral crystals from StarCraft. #3dprinted#terrain#miniaturegaming#strategygame#warhammer40000
I’ve decided to do something different today. This is a Stormcast Eternal paladin retributor from Warhammer Age of Sigmar. It’s the first model I’ve painted in 15 years. It’s not quite done, though. I hope to get the highlights done tonight. Thank you to my boyfriend @admiral_malvain for building the model for me!
First timer at miniature gaming. Crazy how long it took to just get these miniatures assembled just so they can dry a bit before applying primer tomorrow. And superglue holds up to it name... found I'd glued some fingers to the models. This is the #cryx faction of #warmachine . Always enjoy any lore involving the undead/necromancy. #miniaturegaming
This is something I have lined up in my painting que. The first complete game that I started to paint years ago but of course never finished and the game that started it all for me. Mighty Warriors came with the same miniatures as Advanced Heroquest so being new to painting, It was my plan to get my practice on MW before I moved on to AHQ.
MW is a heroes vs skaven Capture the Sheild type game and the wizard figure is used as Chaos wizard against the heroes.
One unique feature of the game and the minis is that they designed the sheilds to be removable with the skaven minis and in the game the skaven utilize this feature by removing the sheild to negate damage or when killed, giving the skaven one free hit.
However, the design isn't that great and the sheilds fall off easily so I've started installing magnets in the skaven minis and sheilds. Even though this game doesn't really get played and the minis are primarily used in AHQ, it's still pretty cool to have the magnitized sheilds. It's fun how the sheilds just snap into place and I can switch them around.
So hopefully I will get this done, it will be my first complete game painted.
